You cant expect IdrA to do well in tournaments if the excuse is always gonna be "he took a game off a code s player so its ok", every major international tournament these days have about 10 code s players if not more and if IdrA wants to win a tournament, he will have to get on a code s player standard level.

Also you do not help IdrA by saying "its ok next time will be better, perhaps you wont get mma in your group", he need some tough love... shake off all the damn excuses and just sit down and practise his new style untill he gets strong enough to compete at a top level as he has the potential to.

If he loses to jakji because jakji's tank line is too strong so his ling/infestor gets decimated, then we shouldnt say "Oh damn jakjis tankline was too strong, better luck next time" - that only implies that its fine and he should just try to run his head against the wall and see if it works next time. IdrA has to realize his weeknesses and then just sit down and practise them, watch how DRG does against the same tankline or some other reason that made IdrA lose, ask a terran teammate to practise it with and then test it out in a major tournament.

If you embrase your own misstakes and learn from them the sky is the limit, but if you every time go out just saying "ah well, next time i might face a worse player" or "oh well that race is imba".

However IdrA did something this tournament that i havnt seen in a long time, he showed signs of great decision making and gameplay, i have hopes for this man. Now enjoy the last day of vegas and then go home and find solutions to your mistakes and come back even stronger.

and what do you think he's doing when he is in the EG lair? There really isn't more we as fans can do than cheer him on, and hope he gets easier opponents for the next tournament.

Easier opponents? EASIER OPPONENTS?

I HOPE IDRA DOMINATES MC 6-0 IN A BEST OF 11 AND THEN DEMANDS AN APOLOGY FOR PLAYING PROTOSS.

THEN I HOPE IDRA BEATS MARINEKING 11-0 IN A BEST OF 21 AFTER BLIZZARD BUFFS MARINES IN HOTS.

That's what I'm "hoping" for IdrA...

There really isn't more we as fans can do than cheer him on, and hope he gets easier opponents for the next tournament. and how is saying that he took games off of Code S players, and that he's showing signs of improvement an excuse? We're not saying it's all ok that he lost since he won some games, we're saying that it was awesome that he did, because he was the clear underdog going in to every single one of those series. Our words cannot make him practice harder or think more about the games he lost; that's all on him. If he doesn't want to improve, or doesn't do everything he can to improve then there isn't much we can say or do to change that.

We are the ones saying that he might meet an easier opponent next time, and we are mostly the ones saying that something is imba as well I think.

I believe Idra is doing everything he can to improve, and I think he is aware of his mistakes. Judging from the way he looked after losing to Bomber, I think he's soon going to force himself into uber practice mode, or break down entirely again. No matter which of those happens, if any of them happen at all, I hope he does what he think is best, even if that means just giving up on SC2 and just streaming for add revenue, or leaving the scene entirely. I also just hope that he's too stubborn and/or prideful to give up, and that he just keeps punching the wall until he breaks through ^^

either of those would make an amazing finals

imagine if he was playing Bomber in a Bo7 in the IPL finals instead of in a bo3 in group play, wouldnt that be much more amazing?

Dude, it would be boring to watch Idra vs these guys, he'd just shit on their face and it wouldn't even be funny. Especially that MC guy, what a chobo. ( I am actually being kind of almost serious right now: MC is doing almost exclusively 2 base timings and all ins, right, and Idra is like a fucking moth(this is legit analogy), he will ALWAYS find a way to find the light(for those of you who suck at metaphors; he is really good at reading the opponent, and he will suicide a dozen overlords to figure out exactly what the opponent is doing) and when he find the light(light=what the enemy is doing) he will find a way to get in to it(He will usually crush it cus he's good at the early midgame, and actually getting to the roach stage), BUT WHEN HE IS NEXT TO THE LIGHT(when he has the advantage) HE JUST CRASH INTO IT AND BURN HIMSELF, AND ONLY THE CHARRED REMAINS OF THE POOR MOTH REMAINS(he doesn't know what to do with the advantage, so he just die)

So because like MC only ever do these all ins that Idra is good at defending, Idra can win against MC

I need some fucking sleep. Holy shit.

He is just not focusing on the game, that is all. Demuslim is same case, same for Incontrol. And you can all guess what this people have in common. You cannot be pro-gamer if you do not focus ONLY on game. Sure IdrA is popular, but with bad results his popularity will decrease.

I hope Greg revives his glorious days and starts winning.

Do you live with IdrA? We don't know what he does. He doesn't live with his girlfriend like incontrol and demuslim (abbe doesn't live there but she's there all the time) I don't really see what could be distracting him

Idra fighting <3

and what do you think he's doing when he is in the EG lair?

Love your spirit.

infestors are just as bad as any other unit if you dont use them properly, i dont know why zergling infestor is "new", you still lose just as easily as zergling mutalisk

The first statement is true. If you don't use infestors correctly it's probably worse than ling/muta. But ling/muta used well is absolute garbage, where ling/infestor done right is really strong.

So he's just going to drop that in front of some thousand fanboys and not give us anything more? What is this, facebook?

I hope he'll recover from this. I mean, he has already suffered blow after blow and he got up every single time. It would be sad for me if he abandoned his progaming career, but right now, I don't know what really would be best for him
