Its good he gave up a fight to Bomber and others and was sometimes close even to win a set, thats a great thing actually, that we still have non koreans, who can still compete on such lvl, because soon enough there will be none.

I love his competitive mindset but he oftens disappoints me with premature gg's, no gg's, double 6pool in a showmatch. But man today he played good (well not counting losing 12 infestors randomly that one time) and I love to see that. but he really has a lot to do still to get to the level of those crazy koreans ^^

Of course, if you refuse to try to keep your infestors alive, and you just throw everything on 1 control group then yeah, but everything loses if you do that . But to say that infestor ling is as fragile as muta ling bling is just wrong :s

Also you do not help IdrA by saying "its ok next time will be better, perhaps you wont get mma in your group", he need some tough love... shake off all the damn excuses and just sit down and practise his new style untill he gets strong enough to compete at a top level as he has the potential to. If he loses to jakji because jakji's tank line is too strong so his ling/infestor gets decimated, then we shouldnt say "Oh damn jakjis tankline was too strong, better luck next time" - that only implies that its fine and he should just try to run his head against the wall and see if it works next time. IdrA has to realize his weeknesses and then just sit down and practise them, watch how DRG does against the same tankline or some other reason that made IdrA lose, ask a terran teammate to practise it with and then test it out in a major tournament. If you embrase your own misstakes and learn from them the sky is the limit, but if you every time go out just saying "ah well, next time i might face a worse player" or "oh well that race is imba", you wont get anything out of losing. However IdrA did something this tournament that i havnt seen in a long time, he showed signs of great decision making and gameplay, i have hopes for this man. Now enjoy the last day of vegas and then go home and find solutions to your mistakes and come back even stronger. Idra fighting <3

There really isn't more we as fans can do than cheer him on, and hope he gets easier opponents for the next tournament. and how is saying that he took games off of Code S players, and that he's showing signs of improvement an excuse? We're not saying it's all ok that he lost since he won some games, we're saying that it was awesome that he did, because he was the clear underdog going in to every single one of those series. Our words cannot make him practice harder or think more about the games he lost; that's all on him. If he doesn't want to improve, or doesn't do everything he can to improve then there isn't much we can say or do to change that. We are the ones saying that he might meet an easier opponent next time, and we are mostly the ones saying that something is imba as well I think. I believe Idra is doing everything he can to improve, and I think he is aware of his mistakes. Judging from the way he looked after losing to Bomber, I think he's soon going to force himself into uber practice mode, or break down entirely again. No matter which of those happens, if any of them happen at all, I hope he does what he think is best, even if that means just giving up on SC2 and just streaming for add revenue, or leaving the scene entirely. I also just hope that he's too stubborn and/or prideful to give up, and that he just keeps punching the wall until he breaks through ^^
