Well, he got Top32 for sure, I think.

Polt is probably one of the most straight up players you will ever find. How on earth can you call this current game cheesy. So it's straight up play to go for a big Marine push and then follow it up with 2 Port Banshee? That is the definition of cheese man ("Cheese most often refers to an unexpected strategy that relies in large parts on lack of information and/or psychological impact on the opponent.") Polt even cancelled the Starports when Idra was scouting them. ya 2 rax into 4 rax into 2 port banshee is the definition fo cheesy all-ins it sucks but one bad Bo3 at the end isnt terrible, he still showed some amazing games and Polt isnt someone to be ashamed at losing to What amazing games? Wasn't this the only series we saw? Well, the pay people saw Jinro, but as I gather, he played a little sloppy there as well. I thought his play looked great vs. Jinro for what it's worth Well Jinro isn't exactly a top player anymore. The guy is very good, but I don't think Idra should be patting himself on the back for defeating him.

Polt even cancelled the Starports when Idra was scouting them. The 2 port follow up is extremely cheesy and allin if he hasn't some incredible raven build in his mind. The problem is that not a single banshee was made that game. Idra died to a completely standard marine force without stim (not sure if shield or not). THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN ON HIS SKILL LEVEL. This was such a normal pressure by korean standards. Idra has to have encountered that on the kr ladder dozens of times. If idra wants to play the so called stephano style (actually it's ling infestor stephano didn't invent this at all) he has to defend like him. With 2 more crawlers he would have been safe against everything. He neither had them nor a baneling nest AND super late ling speed on top of that.

Mostly of a 1 rax gasless expand though and often with stim. MVP's first game vs symbol on the iron squid as well. And to be honest. Which kind of push would idra have been able to hold with one spine, no speed and no baneling nest or roach warren. @VashTS: I'm hundred percent sure that he saw a significant amount of the marine force with the drone he had on the lower watch tower. Maybe he didn't catch the reinforcements and just expected Polt not to be aggressive with the amounts of marines he saw.

Players finishing 9th-80th in the Winter Championship will be invited to participate in the Spring Invite-Only Online Qualifier of their choice. 3. Winter Arena Players who fail to participate in the Winter Championship will be invited to participate in the Spring Invite-Only Online Qualifier of their choice. So IdrA clearly falls under #2, that's the next step. Now, there are two arenas for Spring, before the next championship (June 8-10) and I don't think it's been announced how you get seeded into pool play for that. Performing well in the Invite-only qualifier (top 8? top 16?) will probably get you into the Spring Arena #1. A good performance there would then either seed you into Arena #2 or into pool play. We'll have to wait to know the exact details though ![]()

Kinda bummed he played so little this MLG. Would've liked to see him in pool play and tear it up like last year to show that he's still a top tier player. Well at least now that MLG is over and he's in the US we will get tons of more streaming from him... hopefully.

My skin got that blotching red crap when I was really nervous. Wearing a hoodie and jeans might not help either if it got hot in the player area.
