He plays as he used to, no refresed Idra, he is rigid as concrete.
You're really that blind?
He is doing the absolute opposite of what he did before.
It annoys me to no end how TL mods just let this thread die in flames just because they don't like Idra.

You need to watch it stream, to anyone who is hating.
He has played his ZvP just like his ZvT, with muta ling baneling, and it is incredible seeing him stomp korean grandmasters. His ZvZ is pretty damn good, and his ZvT is improving, as he is playing against really good players now. He's been there for what? A month or so? I'd say he's getting pretty good.

This is disgraceful. You guys need to stop jumping over every single criticism. I've been looking over Delial's posts in this thread and he's 100% not a troll, but you all assumed he was because he dared to say that Idra didn't improve in Korea. He's still getting banned for escalating the situation, but the point still stands.

ladder results dont mean anything. thats idra's first rule.
going by that, stephano would be by far the best foreigner period, as he made top 20 gm within 1 week he was in korea - followed by select who even made it into the top 15 after a long stay. but yes, in my opinion you make an arguemnt for idra, but not by Idra's own words that you should follow.
I'm a demuslim fanboy, and if he loses, whatever! i know he isnt the greastest player yet, some ppl see him as overrated even, may it be so. im sure he has the potential to do great things, that he probably has some issues other players dont have, but i dont care. That doesnt make me say that he showed a stunning performance at IEM but got unlucky, i say he played decent, couldve done better and with little mistakes being dealt with, he couldve made top 3 or even the finals.
I just wished more IdrA fans would be like that, and wouldnt simply get overly aggressive on ANY thing someone says against idra, may the person be right or wrong. Thats one of the reason some ppl try to provoke you guys here - because they like to see you get mad. Dont denie any mistake or bad result IdrA might do/have. Because you are not real idra-fans if you do, you are little kids.

Is it safe to discuss IdrA now?
I wanna discuss his PvZ. Like how he loves Mutas but curiously chooses not to use them for the most part in PvZ.

He's played 3 tournaments zvps since returning to Korea... he attempted to use Muta in one of them (or was it 2? I forget). He uses Muta in 50%+ of the zvps I've watched him stream.
He does use them.

That '' '' at the end of Delial's first post seemed just a tad provocative and trollish
I haven't watched too many of Idra's ZvP's recently, but has there been any improvements or innovations? Most of the games I've seen is either Idra outright losing to the timing attack, or defending the timing attack, and losing the game after trying to follow it up with an attack at the protoss because of bad positiong or something like that. He handles stargate openings really really well though

ye, thats one point i dont understand. his ZvT muta usage is rly top notch, but he doesnt seem to use them in ZvP. Probably its just one of those "mutas dont work against protoss, protoss is op anyways" moments where he never rly tries. Or he simply doesnt fully understand how mutas should be used vs protoss yet. Imo, mutas are clearly meant to basetrade - at no point in the game should u fight the full protoss army, despite you having clearly enough mutas to wipe the protoss out.
Also, you cannot be greedy in early game, 2 base mutas are better then 3 base mutas, since its impossible to defend protoss-allins on 3 hatch while teching on muta - and if you defend with raoch/ling, your mutas could be too late to denie a 3rd protoss base, which is rly important to denie as long as possible. you have to spread bases, spine-crawler them up to the maximum, constantly do dmg with your mutas and never stop building them. once he moves out, runby lings, build more spines and basetrade as best as you can - played like that, by someone like IdrA, i dont see him lose more games against P then against other races.
I would rly love to see IdrA play that style on a tournament stage, its like this style is made to be played by him :/
€: didnt follow his stream lately, maybe he does now

I dunno, he could just do like Destiny, and have like 20 spines at every entrance to his base, while spending every single resource on mutas *referring to the recent EG practice session with Destiny*

Interesting. Everytime I watch him stream I see him go Roach Hydra Corruptor. I just don't see it working since FF's are so darned powerful.
I completely agree with the Destiny comment. I saw him use it vs. Choya to great effect. That's what spurred my post.

I haven't paid the biggest attention to Idra's last streaming sessions, but I've only see him go roach/hydra/corruptor like... Twice.. Could be wrong, though.
Besides, that Destiny thing would be insanely vulnerable to Warp prism though?

What would the Protoss do with the Warp Prism? I'm a little confused about that.

He's still getting banned for escalating the situation, but the point still stands. It's all in how you say it I suppose. I like to think that nobody would have shit bricks if he had said something like "It doesn't look like IdrA is improving much in Korea " (which is really the opposite of what Delial's said, but here meant the same thing. His statement seemed quite trollish IMO - not worth the drama though, either way.)
Regarding ZvP, the Destiny style is not the answer I think. vileState ended up countering it quite efficiently in that very same practice session by building a ton of cannons and leaving some high templars behind. His collosus/stalker/(immortal?) army ended up killing the spines. Destiny didn't have any ground army and died. It's possible that IdrA could refine a "build" like that and make it work with his good mechanics, etc.
I always want to give IdrA the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he needs another month to show real improvements in Korea. His KR ladder record is improving (look at that 8 game win streak whoa!). At some point though, his move to Korea will not be an excuse anymore. And what then? Well - NOTHING! I'll still watch his games and cheer for him. Just because he plays bad and the excuses don't hold anymore doesn't mean I'll stop caring about what he does.
Regarding that series, the first thing that came to mind was how hard PuMa tried to come back, even though he looked pretty dead the whole game. He really wanted to win it for his team. I guess you know where I'm going with that, I'm not even going to say it. No excuses!

He would fly past the spine wall, and drop/warp in inside the bases of Destiny. That Destiny ''style'' is abused really easily, and just not all that good if you know he's doing it. At least in the game I saw, Destiny had no units besides the later mutas which would be too slow to stop a warp prism

lol Cella stealing IdrA's Heineken on his stream. Bad Cella~

I see. I wonder how it'd play out if they reduced the burrow time of Spines. Would be interesting.

There's plenty of ways he could have said the same thing in a much better way. In a sarcastic manner, in a blunt fashion, in a hit fanclub, I don't think was a positive way at all.
"It doesn't seem like he's improved at all" would have been more acceptable, imo.

^ok yea I looked at his history; he had encouraging words and a nice MV after IdrA lost in GSL
