the problem with this case is that it was Polt's stream
3 games lost in a row, at the last one he told Polt to go fuck himself after polt pulled scvs when he had 3 orbitals and beat him with 15 marines and 20 scvs at 12 minute. no comment
oh and idra all ined in game 1

+1 idra, +1.
Screw all-ins.

That's ok too. Trolls or not, ads or not, they add to the viewer count, making the stream more awesome. Bad attention is better than no attention. IdrA gets plenty of good attention anyway because he is a bamf.

Stream chats are always terrible when someone popular is streaming.

"Greg Practice a lot, but ... It is impractical T.T" - Coca
Well I'm pretty sure he could explain to Greg how to make it practical... Come on Coca. Your ZvP is the best and you can't help The Gracken beat some code A protoss? If Slayers Terran can come up with efficient builds for MMA I'm pretty sure their zergs can help Greg or maybe the bond is not that strong to exchange this kind of help but that would be unlikely.
I'm more interested in follow up if Greg has to face Huk. :D Forget hallucinated voidrays at MLG :D knocking Idra out of tournament would anger Idra even more. Hopefully he 2:0 Huk.

If IdrA and HuK have to play each other, it means that they both already passed Ro.48, and therefore qualify for the Up/Down iirc. So it's a win-win.
|
Its nowhere near as simple as "make this build and you'll win". I think much of Idras ZvP problems come from mental issues, he seems to have made up his mind that protoss is too strong and his play reflects it. Your overall mindset is just a huge part of Starcraft, it reflects in everything you do in game.
Also there is the language barrier that probably prevents them from training together at a 100% efficiency.

Does that mean Coca is back in the house? Seeing Jessica's tweet as well and all?
Hmm 31st, thanks for reminding me, probably should take that off..

When did Idra first come onto the scene in BW? I just watched day9 daily #100 again and realised he refered to a lot of people I know from the Sc2 community such as tyler (nony), artosis, tasteless, incontrol, mondragon etc. But Idra was never ever mentioned. Did he come on the scene after this? Surely he must have been active in the NA scene before going to Korea.

Pretty sure yes since it would be stupid and pointless to write "Greg practice a lot but its impractical" without being in the house and seeing what Idra is doing... Especially if I am not mistaken Greg specifically mentioned once that he is looking forward to learn zvp from Coca which would make sense for Coca to help him.
Just look how Axslav recently left EG and joined RGN and how it was settled just like any other announcements way before it happens. There is always delay of few days so probably soon we'll hear official news that he is back in the house.

Well I don't know about stupid. Completely cutting Coca off would be stupid, I'm sure when outside of the house he'd still be in touch with the team. Just curious as I like good Zergs in general and wondering how IdrA's training is going specifically. By all accounts (haven't had a chance to watch much streamage myself) it's been rough, but then that's how it used to be when he was back there before. We'll soon see I guess!
Heh Steppes of War. Dear lord no.. ><

That's the problem the OP wants to highlight. The infrastructure to get good in NA is not as good in Korea, and this creates a selection bias. There aren't too many 15+ year olds in NA that can just turn their life into full time gaming, unless they already have a lot of money or a very supportive family. The concept of B-teams here doesn't really exist. I mean if we look at the top level pros on the scene today that support themselves only with SC2, a lot of them are there because they had the first mover advantage (HuK) or had the chance to develop before (you). This is made worse by the fact that a lot of tournaments are mostly invite-based. how do you think i got that chance to develop? i ignored school and didnt have a social life for 2 years in order to win a tournament and move to korea at 18 to sit in a house and play starcraft1 with 0 return for another 3 years
