And I restate what I said before. Great players can have great records. Most of them do... but you're wrong if you think that great players actually spend time trying to top the ladder.

Considering Idra is used to using ladder as primary source of practice i would say he is not doing well.
Whether his back on life tilt or just adjusting to korean environment im definitely not expecting any good results from idra for at least a bit.

Did you know when Idra was in korea in beginning of sc2 he had a 50% win rate on ladder as well? But he did decent/good in all the GSL's he has played in. Him being at 50% doesn't matter you are looking to much into his ladder ranking.

It was completely different time back then. As the game progresses it grows easier to maintain consistency. And also it was almost impossible to maintain w/r higher then 50 back then as zerg.

might have been different but I don't think it matters what win % he has on ladder. I just think you guys look way to much into ladder %. Just bugs me because for some reason lately I have been reading "oh player x has this % on ladder and very gosu" as a way to say player x is better then y which is imo retarded and needs to stop :D

not only as zerg, iirc there were only maybe 2-3 guys with >60% winrate on the top of the korean ladder.

its an indication but people often blow it out of proportion of course.

yea that was what my 2nd sentence was about. But zerg laddering included steps of war and meta close positions back then.
