To be fair it really sucks when you just lose the rock-paper-scissors in ZvZ.
IdrA was miles behind in economy and had very little chance of winning.

I understand but that is not the right way to play. Playing out a losing game and taking risks to come from behind is a skill in its own right, which IdrA doesn't have and refuses to practice.
Look at any other example. It is inexcusable to quit because you are behind without making every attempt to come back
