I feel like no matter who it is, in ZvT Idra has a good chance.

IdrA on ITG
Paraphrasing: To painuser: "I will win the Asus tournament." "I stayed home on halloween and didnt party with the rest of the guys and now I will win the tournament." Few days later... he wins the tournament lol.

Talk about being dedicated to your practice. It was just said on Inside the Game that Greg skipped out Halloween night and partying to practice for ASUS ROG. Then he goes and wins the thing. Real talk!
Props to him. I'm really happy to be a fan of his hearing stuff like this.

lol IdrA baller~ he should call wins more often
|
I really wish the rest of his team had the same work ethic and dedication as him. All the hard work idra puts in clearly shows in his success

on ITG, Idra was asked a question and really fast he said "the game against Cruncher" lol, didn't catch the beginning, what was said?

If you could change any series that was played in sc2 what would you change.

Wow. Was this at the EG Lair? I think IdrA is the only one that can afford to skip a practice hahahah
funny how that works...

To be honest I'd say he's the only one on the team who CAN'T skip practice (maybe Puma/Demu too). He's held (and for the right reasons) at a standard that is significantly higher than all (again maybe not Puma/Demu) of his teammates, so when he doesn't practice and bombs out of a tournament early, that is going to cause more of a racket than if anyone else on EG does the same.
EDIT: Forgot HuK was on EG too. But the point still pretty much stands

I thought he would say that to. But I think he says cruncher because had he not lost to him, cruncher wouldn't have the recognition he does now (I imagine that is his thinking process which might be true couldn't say).

That's only my opinion however. Im not gonna feel bad about not wanting to play IdrA in a long game when he's like 10x better at long game than short game. After Jinro beat IdrA at IEM. Just sharin'.
In the IEM thread Jinro said he didn't feel comfortable playing Idra in a macro game so he did early timings.

Why else do you think IdrA is as good as he is? He trains hard and focuses on his goals instead of partying.

The thing I truly admire about IdrA is his passion.
His passion brought him the emotions that he has been through.
For him to be where he is now since beta is amazing.
Simply a role model.
