Moreover, did anyone see the small little chuckle he did after he lost to jinro? It was like a "pfftt" kind of chuckle, looks pretty badass to me.
I read someone describing it as a "Fuck this map" smirk :p

If there was an award for most quotable progamer, IdrA would win hands down; unless you want to include Day9 in the running.
It's funny how my opinion changed of IdrA on numerous occasions over the course of hearing about him.
First I hated him for being so BM. Then I became a huge fan after seeing a bunch of his replays. Then I was confused about games where he'd lose to very obvious cheese and would rip into his opponent because of it. Finally, I became curious enough to look up his past posts on this forum to find that either the stuff he says is hilarious or extremely true; often both.
He managed to move up the ladder despite his loss to Jinro but I'm curious to hear what his opinion of the man is now that he's played him in the tournament.

Still the same, IdrA consider Jinro as a very very good player, and he loves the way he play macro oriented games, instead of the usual all-ins/cheese terrans love to do.
And about the smile he did, it was more about the map (which totally suck) than Jinro beating him.
Anyway, please tell me why his opinion of Jinro would change over a loss ?

Honestly, I don't believe it would. But IdrA has often shown a change of heart (usually postive) towards players in the past. Didn't Whole post a few quotes of him dissing Machine in the past? Or Nony? In more recent interviews though, he's mentioned that he respects Nony and that he considers Machine to be a good player.
Although, in all honesty, I might be missing the context of some of those quotes and don't want to be putting words into anyone's mouth. Sometimes it's just hard to keep track of the players IdrA respects and the ones he doesn't.

Nope, just a large number of downloaded replays. I obviously saw the infamous Masq and Silver replays on youtube and that was when I first learned about him.

Apparently it's on Xelnaga caverns. If so that is a great map where Idra can dominate (like he did v Ensnare). However clide has a small edge having seen that game, assuming idra wants to play a similar strat. I wonder who Idra will practice with for this match.
|
Idra always plays a similar strat though, he will likely go for quick speed banes like he did against MVP last GSL and transition to muta/bane/ling. I think it will be a close game, but Idra will ultimately crush him in the end.
|
So is there a place to go to see the most up to date info on the current GSL?
|
i wanna see transition into 17 ultralisks 1a
|
I don't think Clide has a chance here.
