Since it mattered oh so much.
I'm sure he was probably just pissed at callously misplaying that first game and didn't feel the rest would be worth his time.
I'm a fan of IdrA because I still think he's the best non Korean Zerg (even though many no longer think so) and he is so very good at breaking the unwritten rule set so religiously followed by the members of this forum.

Well, I'm a fan of his skill, and a fan of his attitude (because I find it amusing sometimes). Too bad though, I wanted more games. Idra needs to put on a good show for his fans, and he just deprived them of a few more games.

It's not that big of a deal Well, maybe not to you, but these tournaments are not nothing. He committed to it by playing in it all day, and actually started the first game of the semis. If he had plans, he would've either forfeited before the series, or not participate in the tournament in the first place. The only reasons for leaving mid-series can be: he thought he had no chance against Nerchio (looking at their head to head record, makes sense), completely gave up on ZvZs (see MorroW), or a real life emergency came up. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was a combination of the first two.
As for this not being a big deal, well, not as big as if it happened at MLG or some other big tournament, but he let his fans, the viewers, the tournament organisers, Nerchio, and I suppose EG down by just giving up like that. At least be a man and go through with it even if you think you're going to lose. It's unprofessional and cowardly.

he needs to sort his head out before he goes to korea, He'll not make it into GM with an attitude like that.
If you give up everytime you lose/get cheesed then youre not gonna be able to ladder effeiciently
hope he explains that move -_-

A coward is not one who runs knowing he will lose, but one who challenges the weak knowing he will win. Sorry, just had to :3 Still think he migth have been able to take a game though

I find forcing myself to read this thread more and more difficult. :/ Dunno how the mods don't go on rampageous ban streaks every other day. But then again they can vent a bit by banning after exposing themselves to other people's stupidity. I'll make a proper update of the OP in the next few days and will probably give it over to somebody else.

I'm also a big fan of Idra, his skill often amuses me but his ego is too big and I find his behaviour pretty childish. Hopefully he will grow up some day and realise that these things he does look stupid and hysterical, but still, Idra I believe in you.

We'll get an explanation on one of wheats shows. I thinking hopefully its because of him not wanting to give total biscuit viewers.

To be fair I think they've only played like 5 games against each other. Unless there's another tourney that they've played in aside from this one and IPL2.

It's kind of funny to see the kind of stuff that gets banned on other people's fanclubs and then see what goes down unpunished in this one. :/

He probably didn't think he could play ZvZ on EU cuz of the lag (if they were supposed to play on EU for game 2).
And against Nerchio.

Dont think they were going to play on Eu since this is a NA tournament.

And bigger fish shit on him, amirite? Sure this is a fanclub but hating on Idras opponents shouldn't be no more acceptable than hating on Idra.
