Thanks to Day9 i went all the way from very bad bronze in beta to masters now. I really think that i would be at max silver if i hadn't watched a single of your dailies. Not only were they very educating for someone "who wants to be a better gamer"^^ , but also i liked everything else you did on your show. In every new daily you're doing, you show (at least for me) very new and very helpful things. Funday Mondays and Newbie Tuesdays were just hilarious to watch and very entertaining to say the least. Also i gotta say that ALL the bonus stuff on this thread is really amazing and i really think that it is normal for someone, who considers himself a good (western) starcraft player to have at least heard of you and your dailies, which should speak for itself. P.S.: Living in Germany sucks because i can't watch dailies due to time lag  (((((( | ||

I awoke with a sweat, turning in the semi-darkness present about an hour and a half before the time my alarm usually tells me to go to work. But it's not a work day, it's saturday, and I need to get up to watch some Koreans play a video game. I hit my alarm to turn it off, rub at my eyes, but 2 hours of sleep doesn't go away fast. Maybe I need to get to bed earlier. I'm tired, and pretty sore. I've been to the gym recently, and that always makes getting up a pain. So I drag myself out of bed, arms sore, eyes still blurry, either from the fact that my glasses are lying around somewhere, or from the sleepy crap that's still there. I sit down in my chair and click my mouse button to wake up my PC. Instantly, blue light fills the room, and numerous fans start whirring away. There's a cat hair in one of them, I can hear it flicking around, but I'm not about to get on my hands and knees and prod around with a vaccuum cleaner for it. I find my glasses, and put them on. I can make out my cursor now, so I enter my password and go to log in to gomtv, hoping that Tasteless and Artosis haven't started yet. Well, hoping that the game hasn't started, I can afford to miss the pre-show. All the sudden, something on my blue-tinted desk catches my eye. An empty, discarded can of Monster, the shit I drink to stay awake late, some times. Up on the dresser behind it, a featureless white tub, the protein powder I take to the gym. A thought begins to cross my mind, I try to push it back down, but I can't, anymore. Not now. Quickly, I minimize Tastosis and head to youtube. Surely enough, I'm able to find day[9]'s casting highlights from Chill vs CombatEx. And there it is. Now I'm sitting in my chair, empty plastic water bottle in one hand, half-listening to Artosis telling me to get a peanut butter sandwich. Fuck that, I want Bear Semen now. I've already dumped about 90 grams of protein in, and now I crack open my can of Monster, and resist the urge to drink it straight up. No, I have to taste this, no matter how bad it is. Plus, the protein just tastes like sugar, anyways. How bad can it be? I pour it in, it only fills my water bottle about half way, but I cap the lid, add a bit of water, and shake it up. Surprisingly, I'm left with a liquid. I take a look at the stuff in my water bottle. Day[9] was right, it actually looks kind of like semen. A bit yellow, but it's a fucking bear, right? Tilting the bottle, it's obviously a little thinner, but I'm going to drink it, so that'll have to do. I take off the top of the bottle. Not surprisingly, it smells like Monster and protein powder. So I tip it back and take a drink, watching some PvT action in fullscreen, while sitting back far enough to give the crappy stream quality (I'm paying 10 bucks for this?) a chance. It's actually not bad, seriously. I mean, it's bad, but drinkable. And I know the rush is coming. Drinking a full large energy drink usually does it for me, but protein has its own feeling, sort of an "I'm a fucking boss" feeling that hangs around until your muscles stop hurting. Yeah, that's right. I drank a bottle of Bear Semen. Thanks day[9]. | ||
