wow, in daily 173, i asked day9 "why are you so poor?" and he said "because im a grad student, its cool to be poor" and now people are donating so much to him that he isnt really poor any more haha... i would donate to you day9! but since i started watching your show, you always say "keep your money low, always spend it. dont make a trust fund" and i kinda took that seriously in real life too rofl... although my ingame macro sometimes gets so terrible, ill have like 3 or 4 bases with like 7k minerals and 100 gas and i just cant seem to spend it right.

oh well, day9 moved me from a gold to a diamond player in less than a week, right now all i even watch the show is for his comedy in his shows because he makes some awesome jokes and quotes.

well im hoping to be up in the GSL in about a year or 2! hope i can actually make friends with him other than just saying hi at blizzcon.

An overneccessary step for me to contribute here, Day[9] is just awesome.
He tought me how to unterstand Broodwar and RTS in general, and helped transition to starcraft 2.
And it must be said, his show is simply the best thing I've ever discovered on the entire internet, his passion is amazing, I love his energy.

I shall contribute to this thread as well. Day[9] is awesome. His guidance gave me a whole new perspective on Brood War, and of course has helped me immensely with Starcraft 2 as well. <3 When Starcraft (whatever number it might be then, two hopefully) is commonly accepted as the greatest and most glorious of sports, we'll be seeing the Starcraft counterpart of games like "Madden", and they'll be named after Day[9].

Anyway, aside from his huge and beyond epic contributions to E-sports, he's a genuinely nice guy! Of course I'm a fan! :D

So I'm curious. Day[9] said a few episodes before episode 200 that he was going to do a special episode in commemoration of episode 200 (not exactly on episode 200 though) by doing basically "A Day in the Life of Day[9]" or so I thought. He still planning on doing that or did he decide showing us strange internet nerds about his current personal life was a little to strange? I can't possibly imagine him doing the latter. Anyone gone info on this?
