Is anyone else worried that legitimate high level casting is going to be replaced by "funday monday", "noobie tuesday", "friendsday wednesday", etc? Honestly the funday mondays and noobie tuesdays have been submissions from bronze league'rs (except for HuK....which wasn't even on the main FM stream, to be fair). I'm worried we're going to get horribly dumbed down dailies just to cater to the masses

You act like you can't learn from such bronze leaguers. The point of Mondays are to get you to think outside the box (outside of 4 gate, 3 rax push, ling/muta), Tuesdays are meant to work on a problem that is prevelent in much play (I know I definately have issues as to when to drone vs make units), whereas Wednesdays should be pros coming in to comment on their matchups anyways.

Is anyone else worried that diamond players are going to watch a funday monday and have zero clue about what Day9 is doing by hosting something like this? Take a moment and reflect on what you're saying... have you even watched one? Because he's not talking bronze level strategy on funday mondays, he's talking novel strats, unique stuff that isn't going to be found unless you have the kind of resource base he has. I'm a little baffled that you can even call what he's doing 'dumbed down'. You know, in most practices (sports, music, business, etc) it is commonplace for the most experienced people to be specifically put in a situation where they need to re-evaluate even the most basic rubric to continue learning, revitalizing approaches, seeing different points of view, etc. No, I'm not worried, I'm delighted. If you want to see a bunch of casts of the same old same old, there are a bunch of other casters to chose from.

BTW I think I sprayed coffee all over my keyboard every time he said ALLEN yesterday.
