Hey, not sure if this is of interest to anyone, but I've made a simple browser for the Day[9] Blip.tv archives (to make it easier to watch on my phone). It lets you filter dailies by type and has a simple built-in player.

I honestly love this man.

As a university student with only a part-time job, I was willing to spend every single penny I had to go to BlizzCon in hopes of maybe meeting him, but could not risk it because blizz-con runs right during my school's mid-term exam period and I can't risk missing it. Sad, sad day. I am forcing my friends who are going to find him, and get my name to him. It is my life's goal.

Day9 I think it is awesome that you reference beatmania sometimes. Only a few people in my state play iidx. I can only beat a few 12's but still

Day9 you are simply awesome. At the start of my SC2 career I was a bronze level player and probably wouldn't have made it much farther than that.

I began watching some casts and some simple tips I found through that made me improve enough that by the time I was out of the 50 practice matches, I got placed in Silver league.

After hitting a huge wall in my play and not being able to advance or even win very many games, I slowed down in my SC2 playing and mostly just kept watch from afar, through YouTube and whatnot.

Then I came across Day9's channel and through his Newbie Tuesdays I was able to increase my efficiency to get placed in Gold league for Season 2. I'm really grateful for the help that Day9 gave me and I'm extremely proud to be a Day9 fan. While I came relatively late to the scene, I plan on continuing my viewership and hopefully progressing further in my play.

The best thing about Day9 imo is his emphasis on thought process. Many casters don't focus on that aspect of the game, and thus are not as informative or helpful in their casts.

Don't know why I haven't joined this one yet. I love how Day9 gets at the fundamentals of the game (especially since I'm still bronze

) and still makes it all entertaining. Newbie Tuesday is always interesting, and I still go back to some of them for reference.

I felt like Mouse in the "Morpheus is fighting Neo" scene watching Day9 and IdrA on SoTG. Not telling who is Morpheus though :3
