here is the video she is talking about: http://www.mnetamerica.com/ Looks like it's meant to appeal potential advertisers for their mnet america, otherwise who cares about the income and education levels of the channel's viewership demographic or being assured the asian wave is the next biggest thing!
This is pulled from the text below the video: "Who are you? An individual. A trendsetter. And what you like — no, make that love — is Asian pop culture. The Wonder Girls, Rain, Bandai, Anime, cool gadgets, fashion, street racing and drifting. “Bring it,” you say. Well, we are. It’s called Mnet. A new English language TV network for a new generation of Asian Americans and the millions of Asian pop fans."
Bawwwing over nothing, or they added it in afterwards?
Also, it definitely doesn't pay to make a hyper-sensitive video about racism then eek out a bad asian imitation.
I just finished watching Baker King and this song was quite outstanding IMO. I think you guys should check out the other songs in the OST as well, they're quite good.
In response to the girl commenting about the Mnet America thing, I fail to see how it's much different from BET. Even if it's centered for black people, I don't think many people really object to it and I think it's the same thing with Mnet. Eh, just catering to your target demographic who is most likely more niche.
Since no one in this thread has noticed the other song of kara, i.e the one besides Jumping, i'm gonna put this up
If you notice in Burn, HSY has a long hair, and in Jumping, she got short hair Conclusion: 1. She was wearing a wig while performing Burn, which means her real hair is short OR 2. She was wearing a wig while performing Jumping, which means her real hair is long. its a 50/50 so im gonna choose no.2
Also, during the part in Burn when the lyrics go "get your get your get your...", it sounded like they were singing "ketchup ketchup ketchup.." instead imo.
They also pronounce "Dump" like "Dumb" and "Burn" like "Bum"
No way I've always been more of a fan of HSY with short hair. I think it is a little too short for my personal taste, but in general I think shorter is better on her.
I like long hair more almost exclusively; Eunjung is one of the only people I've seen look better in short hair. HSYs former short hair looked alright, but this current form being so short it looks matted on just looks terrible.
