u must have never been to South East Asia... Super Junior and SNSD are treated like GOD there... Fans willing to KNEE DOWN at the airport for them.... if you have never heard of it, you just not that into them

You're drawing the wrong conclusion. People are easily swooned or swayed and the the outlets are in the form of fanboy/fangirlism towards Kpop idols. If Kpop idols did not exist, they would easily be a drawn to something else. It's the same as in the olden times with church preachers inciting religious fervor.
People will always be stupid. That is the norm. It has little to nothing to do with loving SNSD or Super Junior or who not. It's like Jack Thompson arguing that video games are the cause of school shootings, and you should therefore ban video games, when the real issue is that there are simply mentally unstable people.
