Personally, when I'm in the mood to appreciate "real" music with actual substance I just listen to something in english or in my native language. There are awesome R&B singers and balladeers in every country.

Let's face it, the only thing most foreigners find attractive and unique about the Korean scene is its idol pop culture (which I admit is getting out of hand lately). While there is no doubt that a lot of other Korean artists are pretty good and deserve to be recognized, their kind of music is almost always better appreciated by people who have a good grasp of Korean.

Why is Yoona so popular, her acting career must give plenty of PR? Shes flatter than scallion pancakes, totally anorexic and a ridiculously large or wide forehead. Though, theres something about Hyomin and Jessica that seems similar, Hyomin's face looks a bit more natural as opposed to Jessica but its a bit too obvious they both went under the knife. However, Hyomin sure can pull off both sexy and qtpie when the moment is needed. D: Not sure about Jessica or SNSD, they are pretty stale now and pretty much died out for me.

Anyway, probably pointless to say that in such a Kpop environment.

SNSD, Super Junior, 2PM, 2AM, Kara, 2NE1, SS501, 4minute, T-ara, Secret, MBLAQ, B2ST, Big Bang, After School, DBSK, G-Dragon, Taeyang, VI, Shinee, Z:EA, Brown Eyed Girls, CN Blue, Son DanBi, MC Mong, Lee SeungGi.....that's about all I got.
