Jeong Hye-min, the leader of female group Gavy NJ, left the team a while ago, according to the group’s representative. Speculations about Jeong’s departure have been circulating the industry for some time, but her representative just confirmed the rumors after her management agency agreed to let her go. Jeong will take a break for a while before resuming her singing career. She has been a member of Gavy NJ for three years and eight months since the team was first formed.
As for Gavy NJ, a new member has already been selected. Still unknown to the public, the new vocal is currently recording an album with other members and the group’s new release will go on sale sometime in August.
Hye Min is the first girl singing, she was my favorite in the group

I'm pretty sure w&whale just finished a concert run and also did an independant music festival appearance in Hongik recently so they're still about - just not heavily promoting right now.
honestly the cute and/or pretty formula for a lot of K pop artists / groups annoys me a lot
her management group has her singing songs like "Boo" and "You know" when she's capable of a whole lot more like in "Mia," but they're essentially doing what they need to do to attempt to create more popularity for her in Korea which is to appeal to teeny bop through the cute & pretty motif.

I didn't really like 2NE1's Fire but I Don't Care is growing on me. I do wish SNSD won since the score was so close (like 300 out of thousands). Oh well.
IU can sing really well for her age and some of her covers are really well done (I like her Gee version a lot). I think she just needs to find her one big breakout song that matches her style.
If Kara's next song is good, there is a good chance they will be at PL since by the SNSD and 2NE1 craze will most likely have died down and no other big names comes out with anything.

Of course they weren't very good there because they had to go directly to the DF Fest RIGHT after they finished filming Inki (I think?) hence why they were wearing the camo outfits the whole time. Include in the rehearsals, they must have danced at least 10-15 times (compared to the usual 5ish) for those 5/6 performances in a span of a few hours. You can easily tell they are kinda out of breath during the DF performances. They didn't even have time to switch outfits since they were so rushed.
It would be sweet if Davichi came out with another album soon. I really liked 8282, Love and War, and My Man.
