Felt like a 20 year old beating the crap out of a 30-40 year old or something... Not aware of her exact age and she may be in her 20's and well, but she just didn't give out that fighter vibe. If you really think about it, Road FC is a korean fighting event, hence a bias towards wanting your korean fighters to win... They been hyping up Song ga yeon for months now if not years, so would have been disastrous if she actually lost... Seen some articles of her and Ronda Rousey in some pictorials, not sure if they comparing their looks or potential opponents in the near future, that would be lolz... | ||

The ref stopped it early enough. If you watch MMA regularly then you should know it wasn't bad at all. About being korean.. Road FC has tons of japanese fighters, they aren't really a "korean mma organization" more of a asian mma organization. This was her first fight and the japanese fighter had a 0-1 record before this. I'm not sure what kind of fighter you expect her to fight in her debut? You kinda start from the bottom, always. Ga Yeon and Ronda aren't even in the same weight class.. Ronda is at 135 and these girls at like 105.. I think this fight was a catch weight thing. | ||

In any event, both fighters were pretty weak and nothing about the fight stands out as excessive. | ||

I was surprised she started so aggressive. The other chick got dunked. Will be a cool roommate episode to watch in a few weeks. I've still been watching it. Sometimes it's a little boring but their trip to Osaka/Taipei(?) have been pretty good so far. | ||
