I also dont know how you are blaming Cube for the fact that none of the other girls have mass appeal. Yes Hyuna got the two solos and the colabs with that fagt from beast but its not like you can force people to like someone. All her individual shit turned out big. Still with the amount of promotions they have had you would have learned there names by now. Unless you find all the girls so unappealing that you never bothered to learn the names. Which is okay to, I never gave a fuck about NineMuses and dont know any of em...but your somehow claiming that in 4minutes case its Cubes fault.
Some groups just happen to have one member thats a lot more popular then the rest, like Suzy in Miss A, and maybe to a slightly lesser extent Hyoesong for Secret.

When it comes to SNSD vs 2ne1, I have to give it to 2ne1 this time. Their album is just overall a lot better than the SNSD one. And I should also add, neither of those groups are my bias

I know who Gayoon is because she sang one of the worst osts of all time for a drama that I'm genuinely ashamed to have watched. Only jessica from snsd has made me less happy to be watching a tv show with her noise.
Jiyoon is the short-haired one that sings and raps, Gayoon is the one who does most of the singing, Jihyun has the pudgy face, Sohyun is the other one. It's easy.

And this is why I really hate this thread sometimes. People make a big deal out of nothing. It all started with an innocent question, and honestly I have no idea why you guys are using the word "capital crime" in this scenario. Just crime is sufficient..unless you're really hell-bent on alienating those who honestly don't know the names of some group members, which is just silly.
People remember the names of those who they want to remember. I'm a big fan of SNSD, T-ara, GsD, and A Pink (according to my play counts on last.fm at least) and I wouldn't be able to tell you every single member from those groups despite listening to their music thousands of times and reading articles and watching MVs with them in it, what I care about the most is the quality of music rather than the people behind it.
4nugus? I only can pick out Hyuna and Gayoon, and I know a Jiyoon exists but I couldn't pick her or the other nameless members out. I like a few of their songs too, the members are just uninteresting though. Hell I can put names to faces on BESTie but not 4nugus heheh, and I don't even pay that much attention to Bestie. And idk why you would post the worst cover in all of kpop Ness, I had forgotten that existed and I would have liked to have kept it that way.

I dont think we disagree I just think you misunderstood the capital crime thing. That was more that I took his comment as in meaning, its okay not to know 4Minute members since they are an irrelevant group, like that you know a real capital crime is not knowing SNSD member names, so I was just trying to say that 4Minute has been around long enough and made enough good music that if your going to have something as stupid as a capital offence list for kpop, then not knowing their members would be on that list as well... hope that makes sense?
so ye not trying to alienate anyone, more so just defending 4minute, Hyunah and cube. again if you read everything I wrote i tell you myself as an example that I dont know anyone in 9Muses or many of the newer groups because like you said we only learn the names of those we want to remember.
