I guess PSY too as his songs are really good imo. I don't follow KPOP much but there's bound to be some true talent out there.. If the girls have the body to pull it off it'd be amazing. The sexy shit isn't new, people are just making a bigger deal out of it for some reason, partially cause at least before you had some cute concepts, that shit is dying out and I feel like sexy is the only concept left really. @contract thing- contracts for idols are fairly similar across companies so if you want to be an idol you're not really gonna find better terms anywhere else. I might agree that becoming an idol is a shitty career choice but if you've made the decision to do it the contract terms aren't anything you can really negotiate over. At this point not sure if the "debuting idols is expensive gotta do whatever for that cash" is a valid excuse, sounds a lot like people buying kpop CEO propaganda. Like, sure that shit was a big investment but its not like its only a big investment in Korea; debuting an artist anywhere is expensive. Maybe y'all should have thought about how being one of hundreds of clones of the same concept wasn't a good way to get famous. Part of me thinks that companies need to think about how to debut idols in a new way, like in Japan you have the amateur idol scene and whatnot, or in the US you don't even get picked up until you see some measure of success/potential first. Like, instead of bitching about spending hundreds of thousands on lessons and music videos you become more selective with your talent and don't shoot a fucking movie before you even have a single fan. | ||

I am a Singer is mainly for established vocalists and legendary artists (Yim JaeBeom, Kim BumSoo, Lena Park, Gummy, BJY, etc.), whereas Immortal Song has actual idols. and it's not a matter of starvation it's just genetics also regarding the contract discussion, all of you are talking out of your ass because nobody outside of the two parties actually has any idea what the contracts detail. | ||
