BEG's first album is the greatest KPop album of all time and it's mind-boggling to compare it to T-Ara's, the two albums are not even close to be on the same level.
Also KARA's Revolution, Step and Full Bloom are better as well, production wise at the very least.

But there are plenty of other things out there besides girl groups and female solo artists... lol. KMD is mostly hung up on girl groups though so I can't expect the opinion to be too varied when it comes to topics such as these.

The only alternatives are guy groups and guy solo artists... And those are mostly geared towards teenage girls... Nari is pretty sexy though.

BEG's 1st is the best KPop gets.
what your story was a ballad/vocals album and if we're going by ballad/vocals there are far better alternatives. Absolute First is still definitely top 5 by any measure for kpop.

That is exactly how I would expect a typical KMDer to think. Just because male idols have a lot of fangirls doesn't mean the quality of their music has to be any less (though of course sometimes it is). There are quite a few male groups with very worthwhile albums and some good solo works out there too.
Also the term kpop doesn't have to be used just for idol music, many times people use the word "kpop" it encompasses all sorts of Korean music, including rock, hip-hop, ballad singers, and anything else you can think of.
