Just realized that in GNAAL they neither say nor spell SISTAR (and barely any english either). I think this is 100% why they are getting so many negative reviews. Stick with what works girls.

As a friend pointed out to me earlier(I might have skipped the performance otherwise), the performance changes into a rock/metal song which just so happens to be Rising Force by Yngwie Malmsteen. To say I was surprised is a bit of an understatement.

I'm still enjoying the Sistar performances, even if the MV ain't that great. That remix of it was pretty good.

Also, Super Junior M's Breakdown is really good, just still weird they're promoting in korea.

Baek Ji Young is queen of ballads... some upbeat from her as well but I prefer her slow songs (Like Being Hit By A Bullet, That Woman, Hate, Don't Forget Me).
Seo In Young has a lot of great ballads. She also has upbeat songs but I find them a bit try hard (Written As Love Sung As Pain, Wash, ANYMORE).
8Eight is made of 2 guys and 1 girl, 1 of the guys raps haha (I Don't Have a Heart, Goodbye My Love, Covering Those Lips).
Taeyang in Big Bang has released some stuff. Well, they ALL have solo songs. (Seungri - What Can I Do, is catchy)
Brown Eyed Girls have a lot of great solo (Narsha, Gain, and finally Jea) and group songs (...Cleansing Cream is a ballad, Abracadabra is very catchy, oldie but goodie? L.O.V.E).
Davichi as well (Don't Say Goodbye, 8282, Time Please Stop).
Also, Junsu (from JYJ) - Love is like a Snowflake !!!!!!!!!!
Some other ballads are Taeyeon - Miss you like crazy (not sure if you have this), SNSD - Star Star Star, Epik High - 1 Minute 1 Second (OMG EPIK HIGH), Park Bom - You & I

Random catchy (and hopefully not revolting) songs...
Psy - Passionate Goodbye, GDragon - Hello, Park Myung Soo & Gdragon - I Cheated, SNSD - Trick, SNSD - Bad Girl (note: this is in Japanese....but their Japanese releases are pretty good! XDDD), Sistar - Loving U, Sistar - So Cool, Beast - Fiction, After School - Flashback, Sung Shi Kyung - I'm Okay, SHINee - Sherlock, GD & TOP - High High, Kara - Lupin, Kara - Pandora, 2PM - Hands Up, Hyuna - Change, IU - End of Day, Block B - NanRiNa, T-ara & Supernova - TTL, Park Myung Soo & Jessica - Cold Noodles/Naengmyun, 2NE1 - I'm The Best, SNSD - Genie, Son Dam Bi - Crazy, Hyori - U Go Girl, Miss A - Bad Girl Good Girl, Baek Ji Young - My Ear's Candy, 2PM - I'll Be Back, SHINee - Replay, Kim Tae Woo - Love Rain, CN Blue - Intuition.

...Well that spiraled out of control in no time LOL! These hopefully help you branch out into kpop.... be careful with songs from 2008 and 2009. There were many songs released with strange engrish (although CN Blue - Intuition is kind of weird but is from mid 2011 hehe), such as T-ara - YaYaYa. Catchy instrumental, but what are they saying...? I have no idea, which is disappointing.

In regards to Sistar, there is Hyorin (did a lot of covers on Immortal Song 2) and Soyou who can sing well...
and SNSD has Taeyeon, Seohyun, Jessica, Tiffany, and Sunny....
at least that's how I justify why I listen to their songs a lot :D

You're actually able to sing along? I wish I could do that. I tried singing along to Good Day last month during break, but I just had a difficult time with pace, pronunciation, and clarity. It sounded more like mumbling half the time haha. I just stick to the very simple lines that I like.
