I thought the whole point of Kpop was attractive goddess-tier females dancing and singing for our enjoyment. Not average looking female dancing.

Kpop is full of above average girls, thats why you can't be average. Said this before but if you are going to dance in kpop you better look good during it, Seohyun/Yuri and even Yoona are much more fun to look at imo(esp dat Seohyun).

It's funny that you think Hyoyeon is just average, yet she is brought up more than pretty much anyone else for the past who-knows-how-many-pages. You people are an advertiser's wet dream - just have a girl have bad hair for a couple of promotions and boom, she's on everyone's lips with minimal effort.
And if you think you can do better than Hyoyeon in real life, good luck, no one cares, least of all (I would imagine) her lol

Don't think the few times people trashtalk her here makes any difference to advertisers. She's low tier with or without bad hair. and doing better or worse IRL has nothing to do with the fact that she's just not good compared to about one hundred other kpop girls.
She's mentioned alot because sones have to defend their girls, even the worst one.
