To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules;
Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
No reposting of old material unless justified
Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.

KARA has 4 new songs on their mini ( Idiot, Miss U, Pandora, Inst, Way) I suspect Idiot will prove to be a fan favorite, none seem to be some bubblegum pop. Excited.

I'm grateful for the English lesson and crash course in Latin, kuja. However, using 'yo' has nothing to do with dialects, and un-education still isn't a word. For someone so versed in Latin I expected more from you.
dbg The End is seriously reminiscent of the weeknd, minus the rapping ofc. well yongjae does, at least.

I guess if it bothers you guys I can start proof reading more and replace everything with smaller words if i can think of them. It might be good practice in changing that habit I guess.

I really liked the angel concept, I thought they all looked so pure and cute and perfect and corruptible! Am I the only one who likes Elvis? Maybe its because they say Dota and I love DotA but I also like the poppy and upbeat vibe the entire song gives. I'm actually really looking forward to anything else they do. It's also probably my favorite kpop track in terms of recent (past week or so) plays.

Why don't we rename this thread the "KMD Poster Discussion"? You see, every day we pick a different poster to talk about in a negative way and try to analyze everything he's said so far. Bonus round: The person in question finally writes a post that gets him banned. Who cares about k-pop music and idols anyways?

Sample size of "I clicked posts at random in your post page and this is what I got". But yeah, keep pushing that this isn't just a stupid phase.
Irrelevant to convo, relevant to thread, thing popped up in my feed:
Juniel has been promoting her debut continuously for a long time now, I'm sure we will see more of her in the future, since she has obviously survived the hardcore IU fans. It's no small thing either, Jewelry's Yewon got 4,000 messages of hate within days of her debut because people thought she looked too similar to Ha Ji Won.

Calling her a light version of IU is an insult to Juniel and people need to stop saying that. People forget that IU actually debuted in 2008, but really... who cared about her back then? Juniel as a rookie has done way more than IU in her rookie year and will only get better. I can tell you that she sings rock genre a lot better than IU.
It is very comforting to know that, even if she is just one, there is at least one singer-songwriter trying to break into the industry who has performed the hard way. It in no way understating the efforts of idols who train all day and night in studios for the big debut, but there is something especially unique, warm and genuine about street performers. Watching buskers always gives of a feeling of the whole thing being completely unscripted, unplanned and performing for the sake of performing, with no expectations of recognition or advertising.

I can only agree with you and I shouldn't have brought it up in the first place, hoping people would have forgotten everything about it and just enjoyed Juniel as Juniel.

Her label is another subsidiary of Mnet. I don't think that counts as "the hard way" cause you'll be taken care of.
Also Jisook used to be part of a band..does that elevate her standing in your eyes?
I don't remember which group but some group last year did similar things. I don't remember them now cause they failed and are no longer relevant.
I hate the comparisons too and have ranted about it before, but in brutal honesty they have done nothing but rapidly promote Juniel. It can't possibly be said that anybody resembling IU either through their music or image does them any bad. I know I would of completely skipped over her debut if people didn't keep comparing them.
Dys I know she is with a strong agency right now but I assumed she was performing before then. I do not know her pre-debut history in great detail but I would like to believe or hope that at one point she was performing without having an agency to support her.
