To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules; - Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
- When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
- No reposting of old material unless justified
- Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
- No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
- Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
- No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
- No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
- Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up. |

If he adds Dani to that list though, you gotta bludgeon him over the head. Give him short term memory loss. Make him forget everything that happened the past couple days.

Nothing wrong with that list. Kahi was definitely in my top 3 when I first started.

I'm so lost in the world of kpop. I don't even know who is my bias nowadays. Don't know my favorite group either.

Learning hangul was probably one of the most fun moments in my Kpop addiction.. I think all people should learn it.. takes literally 1-2 hours before you can read basic stuff and all group names.
It's a random skill I'm proud of.
edit: increasing your vocab takes dedication and a probably months/years to become decent.

Go on... 1-2 hours really? How?

internet. 1 hour, seriously. First day of my Korean class we learned Hangul, the very next day we were supposed to be able to read.

Periodic Table of Hangul and Korean Wiki Project is what I used, but really there are tons of sites that are good and easy to follow. Very quick and easy to learn in general.

Learning hangul was pretty fun and quick but some sounds like: 와,워,의 etc. can be annoying to read for me. Also I still don't really understand the whole ㅆㅉㅃㄲㄸ stuff lol.

Well you don't have to be able to read 100% of the jamos to get along, every little bit helps, and learning the basics is a piece of cake.

I agree the double vowel sounds are so strange to read, but the double consonants are pretty easy, you just pronounce them the exact same as a single most of the time iirc.
edit: There is apparently a slight difference in pronunciation which I kind of thought. Only really good speakers will be able to tell the difference though. Say Sistar and So Nyuh Shi Dae. I can only tell the vowel difference, the S sounds the same to me.

At least ㅃ, ㄲ and ㄸ are shifted more towards our B,G and D sounds, whereas the singles are usually at an unfixed point closer to P K and T.
If it's a Seoul girl speaking the rules go out the window.
