The education system is strict but that is for normal students not special cases. Like in my classes there weren't any celebrities but there were athletes who missed class all the time either because of practice or competitions and the only time you really saw them was during exams. I'm sure something is worked out that makes them cleared at least for attendance as long as they take their exams. Some try to study with the time in between while others just give up and guess the answers and go to sleep after. In Korea, its mandatory for students to finish middle school but after that they don't have to go to high school. So there are cases where some just finish middle school and either take the korean equivalent version of the ged and get their high school diploma or just delay it till later. Of course some teachers and people might consider it superficial to miss school to become a celebrity or an athlete but the majority seem to respect the person's choice. And I don't really think there is much the school can do anyways especially if their parents are the ones who support their decisions. | ||

Well considering the whole point of a strict education system isn't for the sake of learning exactly, its a setup for a good future, and there is a good future in being a celebrity. | ||
