There's a check mark beside the name when you go to their full twitter page, which means its verified. Of course, I don't think it applies to all kpop stars. But since SNSD is under interscope, I think if they did have twitter, it would have to be verified.

I don't think most kpop people I follow are verified by twitter, maybe only 1 or 2. But yeah anyway those are definitely fake accounts.

Nevertheless you should still have a twitter, it is useful.
