When I came back from Korea and took the subway for the first time since I was back, I was shocked and appalled at how fat many Americans were. I don't think I've seen a single obese person in Korea, but there are a ton in New York, hogging up 2 seats on the subway or bus. | ||

I've seen more oveweight people in korea than I assumed I would - the food here is so good in places and I've really failed miserably at not visiting all the chains we don't have in England (both korean and American/foreign.) I noticed that a lot of high school girls seem to go through a chubby stage and then slim down in their twenties to fit in with that office lady/feminine style of dressing as opposed to the more hip-hop/casual clothing they wear when they're in their teens. Some of the old ladies here look like they could totally kick ass in a fight though - compared to England people seem to stay active far further into their sixties and seventies. I can't believe some of the huge carts I see them pulling round. It makes me feel like a lazy cow. On a kpop note - I wish U-Kiss would hurry the hell up and release their album - it's been delayed *again* and I'm interested to see how the new group 'Dragon n Tiger.' develops. ![[image loading]](http://i25.tinypic.com/22hm41.jpg) | ||
