I forget where I read it but apparently it's cause they thought T-ara was getting too old average-age wise (Boram is 25, Qri is 24), and they wanted to add a youthful face so that T-ara kept up a youthful image rather than an older, more mature one so they could continue doing weird cute concepts like Roly Poly and shrieking 'oppa!' all the time. Also, more members means more potential individual marketing dollars and the more girls you can send out to do promo events at once. They probably wanted to keep her cause her twin was in Co-ed (and Hyoyoung was supposed to be in T-ara and Hwayoung in Co-Ed, goddamn why didn't that happen) and they wanted a publicity boost, but had nowhere to put her, as Seeya was split up/about to split up/inactive at the time and Hwayoung isn't good enough at singing for Davichi so they shoved her in T-ara since you don't really need talent to fit in there. @Soralimit they probably consider it title-track worthy seeing as they promoted it in Japan, and since they already have that song and haven't promoted it it probably seems like the best chance for a decent hit from SM's perspective. | ||

Regardless, the live versions of Mr. Taxi are always hot as hell, so that should be fun.
