Korean Music Discussion - Page 1941

To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules;
  • Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
  • When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
  • No reposting of old material unless justified
  • Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
  • No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
  • Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
  • No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
  • No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
  • Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)

Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.

Either? They're both pretty generically unremarkable.

I think APink has a possibility to become pretty good, Dal Shabet is just bad.

i think the best way to solve this is to open a new thread and strictly increase the rules of posting(anti repost). The main problem with this thread is that it grows wayyyy too fast compare to any normal threads on TL. Without and major song release, this thread already could reach 10 pages perday. Discussions/arguments are hard to keep track with and contents (picture/video), even though are in spoilertag, slow down the site heavily.

Something like post quota per day might help but doubt that R1ch would be willing to implement it.

About the fan opinions (mostly Sones vs non SNSD fan) i think we could leave it at what it is as long as its constructive criticism and not too 1 liner. Its the same with any kpop fan site and there is noway you would be able to stop it. People just need to accept the fact that there are people who dont like the stuff that they like thats all.

About those new girls groups: not too found of them, all i know is that they do exist. The latest girl groups that i enjoy are Girls day and Rainbow. New boy groups though is kinda cool: B1A3 - O.K. got me loops for an entire night before i get tired of it.

I don't really see the problem, the re posts and spoiler issues are usually addressed by the people in the thread, but in the end the mods will have to take action. Without some people making incredibly offensive and/or insulting posts which are very often one-liners, there aren't that many issues in my opinion. Just every time someone decides they need attention and want to be funny by being offensive or trolling everything turns to shit.

Things like:

are just unnecessary in my opinion. In the end the mods will decide what will happen, but lately things turn to shit more frequently.

Girl's Days debut was so much worse than both A Pink's and Dal Shabet's so I would give the rookie groups a while longer to salvage things. Considering their debut was so bad 2 members dropped after it while both A Pink and Dal Shabet is still intact gotta say something.

Of 20-30 girl groups debuting this year it's only A Pink, Dal Shabet and maybe maybe maybe Rania that will stay relevant in the future. A Pink is definitely looking good because they already have a fairly big fanbase and Dal Shabet has been promoting non stop since January so they have shoved them self down people's throats.

No bling bling is 100 times worse than tilt my head.

Girls day debut was bearable but then they eventually they came out with nothing last forever and it was so amazing that everyone forgot about their debut and just saw how amazing it was. I doubt dal shabet can do something like that and the members leaving helps them do better for their comeback cause it can make people think more change has happened in their group and something new and better will be coming. Whereas with Dal shabet is still going to be just as awful.

Can we discuss various aspects of Korean music instead of complaining about trolls?

Here's a topic to start - I honestly think that T-ARA's Cry Cry ballad is extremely soothing on the ears.

This is probably an unpopular opinion - but I think Cry Cry (ballad) is the best out of all 3 (4?) songs on their new EP.

T-ara always has some good ballad song but sadly their vocal talents are not good enough to perform them. Giving this song to somebody like IU would result a much better song. Im not sure the video you posted is low quality or there just too much auto tune in the song that it sounds worst than ever =_=...

I enjoy Cry- cry normal version

Dal Shabet's debut song Supa Dupa Diva was quite good imo, Pink rocket was kind of decent and Bling Bling is incredible repetitive. Even how terrible Bling Bling is that song is still their highest charting song, they broke into Gaon top10 with it which is fairly big.

wow a truely dedicated fan :D

Cannot understand the fuss about fanny's shorts looks hot for me and she can wear them till the day she marries me hehe no but honestly so crazy how much time netizens have to wonder about certain things and hate on warddrobe oO wish I had so much freetime

some oldschool stuff, I started to listen to a few of those oldschool groups like H.O.T, Shinwha, G.O.D etc although my favourite has to be TURBO, this song has to be one of the best of all time in the korean music industry, maybe some korean can tell me if this song really "moved the nation" like I read it in a few articles.

That truly a is very good song indeed, a lot of this older stuff is actually so good. I feel sad I missed a lot from back then.

A pink is pretty good, I enjoyed It Girl quite a bit. I think they have potential, also that new song My My is good.
