To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules;
Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
No reposting of old material unless justified
Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.
Cmon, noone discusses anything on Fan(english) forums(I don't know how it goes on the korean ones), they just rack up posts say OMFG U ARE SO CUTE!!!!!!11111(extra 1's or !!! characters in order to fullfill the minimal character requirement) then they gain access to subbed vids and voila, done.
if anyone wonders how voting goes, for MAMA(if anyone cares about that) here is how vocal group will be determined: Best vocal performance group : Viewer’s Vote 10% Special Judge 20% Research 20%(the fuq is this) Album Sales 20% Digital United Chart (Digital Single) 20% Selection Committee 10%.
Also KMK will sadly be leaving IS2, but Haeri is taking her place, so expecting some nais powerfull vocals.
I have. It's just that with a 10x larger fanbase the problem is multiplied by ten times, making SSF easily worse than any other group fan forum, not that any of them are good.
I wish I didn't get into kpop just this year so I could do the history of Jiyeon or Soyeon T.T
Kipsate hit the nail on the head with his reasoning - I tried to get up my post count on soshified but I can only post so much about how much I love Jessica while trying to keep up with their character count and word count limit without throwing up. There's 0 discussion at all there, just people saying shit like whether they prefer her hair brown or blonde, straight or side bangs, blah blah blah. Nothing really useful, but they did have nice pics.
if you want discussion. try hanging longer in ssf. they have so many cliques in the different threads but i don't think any of you bothers to. You just want to get past 50 for the used to be quality and fast subs while meeting the same kind of people just like you. With that as your benchmark, yeah, ssf is a pretty bad place.
There's quite a bit of discussion on SSF, but it does get buried a lot. Like for instance, when Sunny's solo stage from the Japan tour came out, there was quite a lot of discussion on it ranging from hating it to loving it. Only the hate isn't garbage like "omfg that was such shit what a troll blah blah" like you'd see in other places(known to happen here for example). Stuff like that gets moderated heavily, so it's a very polite atmosphere. That type of atmosphere isn't for everyone, which is why it is nice that other areas like this thread exist.
Soshified is HUGE. There's going to be some terrible posts, especially with people just trying to access subs, downloads, etc. But on the whole I think it is a great community for people who enjoy SNSD to come together to talk about the group, spazz, read news, etc. without any judging whatsoever.
I've met a lot of people from SSF this year, going to Korea and SMTOWN New York. Every SSF member I've met in person has been awesome.
edit: and some of them are even TLers, some who also lurk in this thread =P

I just think have the site is ran in general is great. It's the only international fansite that's big enough to make great things to happen like the SSF trip to Korea and so on. The subbed video section on Soshified is far superior any other site i've seen, video section is continually updated fast with RAW's and the photo section is often extremely good.
But then there's the big problem, you click on any of the members sub forum and it's just a spamfest so they'll get to 50 posts. If that wasn't enough most of those threads are from 2008/2009 with way too many pages so there's not anyone that would be willing reading through it.
I have gone back to lurker mode there but if there would be a section for 20+ or just a section in the forums that required to post more than "Unnie was so gorjess in genie, but she's always gorjess no matter what". BTW even though we tease you a bit i still appreciate what you and the other staff is doing.
It was the same on the T-ara diadem forum. A bunch of people talking about nothing. I guess that's just the part of the forum that people like us see then, and since I don't like to be a dedicated fan of anything I'll probably never stick around to find out more.
I didn't want to spam the forums to get access to the download section so i just donated instead. I have no real interest in discussing the group as i only really enjoy the "cute" members and the variety shows, not the music. :D
I'm really glad they found a suitable style for all the girls for 'The Boys'. If you think back, the adidas heels and leggings were really really bad. This outfit is elegant and of course still plenty of sexy. It has leather parts on the vests and corsages, colours are black/brown/greyish mostly which also suits the fall coulours. Just wondering why they didnt dress like that from the start...

I honestly hate that outfit that jessica wears with the long white sleeves and the leather brown corset thing. She looks like a fucking milkmaid or some shit. Not sure about the other outfits because I don't look at anyone else, I think Seohyun had good ones though. But seriously give Jessica a more classy outfit instead of making her look like a farm girl. Farm girls don't bring the boys out.
yep that's the outfit vvvv mavkar u got me there, gg, as sica would say

But you draw the line out yourself.
Farm girl ---> Milk
From that it's just a quick shake and we got ourselfs a milkshake. And we all now, that is what brings the boys to the yard...

That's weird I think Jessica actually got the best outfit out of all the girls, she also looks a lot better than usual during this particular promotion cycle to me. Just to make sure we are talking about the same outfit.
