To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules; - Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
- When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
- No reposting of old material unless justified
- Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
- No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
- Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
- No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
- No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
- Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up. |

I'd say either NU ABO or Pinocchio is there most popular song. edit: just jogged by the convention center in anaheim since its like 10 minutes away and it looks pretty good :| too bad i didnt get one of those spectator passes I thought you could buy at the door? I know you could at previous events. edit- torn between picking 4 chance or Love like this for SS501. Personally like Love Like This better but 4 chance won more awards... double edit- also we need a new SS501 type musical style. IF they do come back which they claim (doubt it), but no other male group has the uber Korean poppy style that they do

Love like this is the only song I recognize from SS501. Also, you should add in SISTAR. ^_^

Done and added 4minute as well. Picked I My Me Mine cause it's the first hit off youtube and if I recall correctly they've never won for any song anyway. Change seems to be gone from youtube, which is really disappointing to me.

Everything is trash nowadays. Save for some SISTAR.

I've always felt la chata is by far their best

I was going for more representative though, otherwise many of my song picks would have been changed (Rainbow would have been So Cool, for example, a song they didn't even promote), and Danger/Pinocchio won whereas La Cha Ta didn't, as far as I remember.

Fin.K.L. and Jewelry are two old kpop groups that I have a few songs from in my playlist.
Fin.K.L. + Show Spoiler + Jewelry + Show Spoiler +
edit: And making some kind of list at the top would probably be a great idea, though I'm not sure how it actually should be pulled off unless you want a list with thousands of songs.

And from what I can tell it's more nostalgia talking than actual decrease in quality.

I'm not the one now getting into kpop right now. I just think that we should compile a list of recommended groups and songs, no matter how old, and post it as a note so that people who want good kpop music or are getting into kpop can look at it and listen to some of the music/groups we've recommended.........or we can just reference everyone to DystopiaX's post:

You know... the timing is pretty good... If that happens I'm getting a ticket to Anaheim, even if it's like 5dolls again lol.

Exactly what I'm thinking.
I don't remember where I read it, I think GoKpop. Because Music Bank was sucessful in Tokyo they're thinking of doing more international Music Banks. New York in October was in the article.
I would drive south for Music Bank in New York. A certain group also comesback around that time and they attended Tokyo Music Bank even though they weren't promoting. I hope this goes through.

^gonna be in college in Boston, may find someone to give me a ride to NY.
