I am, and I can't wait to see them . I'm going on june 10th.
i work at a tutoring center with the majority of the kids being korean. i was helping one of the student's moms with her visa paperwork stuff and i mentioned that i was going to korea in july with my best friend from college. when she heard that she offered me her spare apartment in hongdae! awesome location and it saves us a ton of money that we would have spent on hostels.
but it gets better!
she asked what i was planning on doing during my stay, and i mentioned that there would be a SNSD concert happening july 23rd.
yup. 3 days later she stops by the tutoring center and tells me that she bought 2 tickets for SNSD's july 23rd concert in seoul for my friend and me! when i asked her how much money i owe her she said it was a gift. BALLER STATUS.
she got a friend in korea to buy the tickets for us so i'm not sure which seats i'll have... hopefully i'm in standing A/B/C!
oh man congrats on the sweet deal, what a generous lady. be sure to tell us how the legs were.
From what I've heard they're shorter in person (camera/makeup trickery) lol. Curious to know if it's true, ID8 you have to tell us!
Tallest is Sooyoung who is 170cm. 170 cm is what? 5'8"? I think average height of women in Korea is like 160. So i guess SNSD just looks tall in comparison to the rest of people around them on camera, especially since they wear killer heels and insoles (Sunny...)
I think it's time for me to get a tutoring job in Koreatown.

Awesome lol. I live right next to Hongdae, let's meet for drinks when you're here :D
i'm down for that. can we get a TL meetup? kthxlol
also those pics on the previous page were excellent.
That Far East Movement song almost put me to sleep from hearing that chorus over and over again. Not sure what they were trying to say but it sounded like they were asking Cella what he wants to me.

So let me make this clear, it's okay to have a cab driver concept in a song but not disco?
yeah pretty much for me, but I have weird distinctions.
Also, Good job snagging that deal ID8. Are you and your friend just going for the concert? You should definitely let us know how it went. Pics appreciated.

Wait what? If you're referring to the pic I had, that was from the kpop heal the world concert I believe. If you're talking about the earlier one, that's Rainbow. If you were talking about the rumor of T-ara clubbing floating around, that hasn't been confirmed as far as I can tell.
