Cube said all their artists split evenly because they're most known as a group, so any individual success is partially because of the groups success, but I wouldnt say everyone in b2st or 4minute are equally popular. | ||

I thought that whatever the group makes together (snsd for example) is split within the group members and then whatever activities an individual member has goes straight to that person. I think snsd revealed this in a show but i cant remember which one =/ | ||

And obviously only that member would earn the money. Or in some cases like the new IntelCF, the whole group would share the money. It's fine really. If you're not popular but your group is, you earn money. If you're not popular and your group is not popular, you earn less money. If you are popular in your group, you get asked to shoot CF and you earn money. And in SNSDs Yoona's cases: you're popular and your group is popular, you earn a lot of money. I still can't believe it's still the boybands that earn most money... Probably because males (those that like SNSD) aren't that fanatic as to females that would buy anything with GD or TOP on it. (Not speculation on my part) http://www.allkpop.com/2010/11/how-do-idol-groups-distribute-their-income basically, JYP+Cube artists split equally, SM and most other artists allow individuals to keep their money. Depends on the label you're signed on I guess. | ||
