+ Show Spoiler [Gunbuster 6] +That ending was so stupid. You're seriously gonna tell me that people on Earth held out hope that Noriko and Amaro would return for TWELVE THOUSAND years? I could understand a few decades, since their family and friends would be around, but I think that no one would care anymore within three or so generations. At least the main girls stopped being idiots in the end. The parts with the Gunbuster were EPIC. But there wasn't enough. It was definitely better than TTGL though. I really want to give this show a 9 because of Gunbuster, and the science, and Coachee, and all that other stuff, but I'm giving it an 8 since the start was so slow, and the ending was dumb, and because there were some things that kinda confused me (like how they didn't explain the aliens pretty much at all). I still loved it though.
Lmfao. I can't believe that Van Halen is still popular in 2021.

This is cute as hell O_o + Show Spoiler + + Show Spoiler +How was the ending dumb? Prepare yourself for the wrath of Sentenal. Gunbuster's ending was great. They saved the entire human race from extinction, with GREAT personal sacrifice, cementing themselves as legends. And then they finally get back to Earth, but its all dark, and they think it was destroyed anyway... But then they flash "Welcome back", even though it was misspelled. I thought it was incredibly heart warming. Diebuster's ending makes it even better. Are you arguing that people wouldn't have any concept of history? We still remember heroes from long ago in the past. Why would that change? You make it out like they were small time heroes that no one cared about. And with Noriko and Kasumi's exploits, they made themselves the GREATEST heroes in human history. Why would only their family remember or care? Like for example, imagine Christians had a set date for Jesus' return. Do you think that they wouldn't plan a huge welcome celebration? Just to clarify, I'm not saying she becomes a religious figure, just saying that its easy to imagine people remembering her.
Now I'd prepare yourself for the wrath of Spazer.

+ Show Spoiler +Ohoho. Do you really believe that people would say things like "They'll be back any minute know. I know it!" for twelve thousand years? And they would have some perfectly organized and executed greeting waiting for them? I still think that after a few generations people would just give up hope. Or at least, most people would.
And yes, they were definitely legends and the greatest heroes in human history. But I don't know if they'd be like Jesus. I mean, we are taught about Jesus's deeds and shit for our whole lives. Maybe everyone in school in the Gunbuster universe was taught about "Takaya Noriko and Amaro Kazumi's heroic self-sacrifice to save humanity" and that "because of time dilation, it's possible that they could return at any time." But I don't see it happening.
BTW, for twelve thousand years to pass, they'd have to be traveling at lightspeeds for what, at least a month? Two months? How did they survive that long in the Gunbuster?

How did they survive that long in the Gunbuster? + Show Spoiler +Obviously we don't know the specifics. But I don't see why you completely reject any possible explination. The people on the earth could have been able to detect their return long in advance. Like they look at their space radar or w/e, and go "Wtf is this thing thats heading towards Earth so fast... Is that... Buster Machine #1 and #2??? THE LEGENDS" Easily possible, and reasonable.
Again, you are ignoring how Noriko and Kasumi made themselves the greatest heroes in human history. Imagine someone that people still admire from many generations ago. Why would you think that people wouldn't teach about what Noriko and Kasumi did? We are still taught about people like Alexander the Great, or other random Greek dudes from thousands of years ago, and their importance would be no where near Noriko's. Why would you think that people wouldn't tell their children bedtime stories of a girl who worked really hard, became the most badass person in the universe, saved the human race, and will one day return? Thats how legends are born.

Btw New Getter is great, look forward to it.

OreTsuba's timeline is messy as shit, I don't see how they'll storyboard it without doing something like Higurashi/Umineko/Ef to be honest. If they try to lump it all together... oy. I mean you must have noticed during or after the first three routes that the dates were like, overlapping :/ That's gonna be messy as fuck lol.

Well, I wonder how the facts got skewed. I mean, I'm sure that a lot of the stories and stuff that we hear about historical figures are just made up to make them sound more awesome. Though I don't really know how anyone could make up anything more awesome than what Noriko and Amaro did.
Edit: LoGH gaiden 1 downloaded. Since there's no restrictions, and it's LoGH, I expect to blaze through this.
Edit 2: This is awesome. Young Reinhard and Kircheis is when LoGH is at its best, IMO.

Separating it by routes would destroy that cohesion.

This is the first time I heard this. Is this true? + Show Spoiler [G-sen, Haru route] +Okay surprise... Yet to go beyond H-scene since my roommates have returned =.= That brother resolution felt somewhat cheesy but I can't see much improvement given the situation. Hm... Chaos;Head next? Or Eien Aselia? Lol Chaos is described as 'Delusional Science NVL'. What is a NVL anyway? If you get chaos head to work I would really like to play it. I couldn't find an english patch. I'm pretty sure there was an english patch, cause i think i played the VN a while back. It was awesome and creepy at the same time lol Eien no Aselia is pretty amazing, Alot of time investment perhaps though, a FULL FULL clear is going to take around....a good couple hundred hours? Well i meant Chaos;Head. lol IIRC it might not have been an english patch, i think it was like a program that ripped the text from the VN then translated, and it showed up english, i think. Forgot what it was called but, it was pretty useful. I'm not really a big fan of VNs though. Probably because i'm bad at them lolol, and some take soo much time... Yep there's a english patch alright http://erogedownload.com/downloads/chaoshead/ because of my ROTK fandom and because I am bored gonna try out Koihime Musou next, the anime was pretty >> but let's try the VN

+ Show Spoiler [LoGH: Hundred Billion Lights 3] +God damn, amazing plan by Reinhard and Kircheis to kill the Alliance soldiers. And even more awesome how they killed that one LT. guy. Don't fuck with Reinhard's sister. Holy shit Kircheis is a master programmer too? What a goddamn badass. I wonder what Kircheis was typing here... ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/l0dwd.png) This reminds me of those huge shield barriers put around cities in Dune: ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/c8rNx.png)
