except don't the two one vs one? Dunno if/why El would be there lol. Zengar does more than just fight Wodan at the Earth Cradle. There is also the part with the Machinery Children. Just imagine how glorious it could be!

+ Show Spoiler [Madoka] +I honestly thought this was a good show, but nothing like extremely amazing until this episode. It went a step beyond my expectations in almost every way. The whole mood of the story changed as did the outlook for each character. When Madoka was talking to Kyubey then he gets his face blasted in I was like... Did that just happen? Fuck... Then Homura not being from the same time line. My god I wish this wasn't ending so soon, but at the same time I wouldn't want it to drag out. The episode opened so many more plot possibilities and now I really want to see the next episode now.

I know, but I don't remember El being there, in general, hahah. And if he's there, I feel like it could be slightly awkward with El there, we'll see~

From the Madoka wiki, since episode 1: + Show Spoiler + Seriously, Madoka speculation fanbase has been spot-on with a remarkable number of predictions thus far.

That picture... + Show Spoiler +Lmao they must be rewatching it or something, cause how does anyone pick that up the first time. Let alone think about it, their eye APM is like 300 or something. I would have never guessed. But props to the director for putting in very very subtle hints like that damn. Thats the sorta thing you look back after a few years that just blows your mind

I'm telling you, the fanbase for this show has been hardcore. That image has been floating around for weeks now, long before + Show Spoiler +Sayaka became a magical girl
Madoka wiki is crazy.

Madoka screenshot analysis and more background speculation.
+ Show Spoiler [Madoka 8, German background translation] +Most of the speculation will be based on the following image: ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/vzpSc.png) The image is an excerpt of the background images floating around behind Homura and Kyouko while they are talking about Walpurgisnacht. The connections to Faust are already obvious with the naming of Walpurgisnacht itself, but this shot proves again that the connection runs even deeper. The German text in the upper picture is the Hexeneinmaleins, a incantation that is used by the Witch during Faust I. It allows for various interpretation (for example that it describes a magic square), but Goethe itself has confirmed nothing during his lifetime. The WITCH, with great emphasis, begins to declaim the book.
This must thou ken: Of one make ten, Pass two, and then Make square the three, So rich thou'lt be. Drop out the four! From five and six, Thus says the witch, Make seven and eight. So all is straight! And nine is one, And ten is none, This is the witch's one-time-one! (Source: http://en.goethe-faust.org/first-part-of-the-tragedy/wiches-kitchen)Next is the line "Ein Narr." Since the picture is deliberately cropped, it could also look like "kEin Narr" even though the capital E would look pretty wrong in the second case. It means "A fool". "Ein Narr" appears not often in Faust, only in two areas that seem pretty unrelated to what I've seen so far. "Narr" itself is a major theme though, most often used by MEPHISTOPHELES. For example directly after the Witch chanted her spell above: MEPHISTOPHELES
To these will follow many a stave. I know it well, so rings the book throughout; Much time I've lost in puzzling o'er its pages, For downright paradox, no doubt, A mystery remains alike to fools and sages. Ancient the art and modern too, my friend. 'Tis still the fashion as it used to be, Error instead of truth abroad to send By means of three and one, and one and three. 'Tis ever taught and babbled in the schools. Who'd take the trouble to dispute with fools? When words men hear, in sooth, they usually believe. That there must needs therein be something to conceive. Other interesting parts of that image: The picture at the left shows some silhouettes that appear to be magical girls, together with "Walpurgisnacht" again. In the top left corner of the image you can see the words "Bühnentechnik" (stage mechanics) and "Gear". The small green text at the right side of the image is not readable on this screenshot and only barely on the others I've taken. But all the green text in the slides is in the format of "<date>_<object>". For example on other screenshots you can see "1914_Bücher" (1914 books) or "1939_Europe". Based on that interpretation and some image editing, it looks like the green text on that image is "1832_Deutschland" (The year in which Goethe published Faust II). There is another green text part on that same slide, but it remains unreadable for me. Edit: "1832_Deutschland" confirmed with an additional screenshot. You can see "1914_Bücher" and "Plan A" here too. Overall image: ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/kspBe.png) Any more information and speculation is welcome.
Edit: Updated with additional screenshot. Edit 2: Updated with the screenshot from my post below.

Another thing to note: + Show Spoiler +![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/Bj7IG.jpg) The picture behind Homura is of the witch from episode 1

Hey guys, I wanted to talk a bit about Trigun and Trigun Maximum the Manga, what did you guys think about Maximum? Personally I loved what Nightow did with it but the ending was horrible, although every thing leading up to the ending was fantastic.
+ Show Spoiler +Rather than a final duel where Vash kills Knives, Vash saves Knives and they become best friends. It seemed so odd for the series to end this way, I mean, Knives was a psychotic killer who wanted nothing more than to kill everyone, yet he ends up accepting Vash as a brother again? I like differences between manga and Anime, particularly the new design on the Gung-Ho Guns, I think Crimson Nail is an awesome character and I love how they made Legato Summers powers strings rather than mind control. Also Zazie the beast wasn't just some lame character, Zazie is actually the incarnate of the entire planets ecosystem which I find facinating and plays a big role in the story. I also love what they did with Wolfwood and his covenant, especially Livio he is such an awesome character and I am actually glad they made him into a good guy.
Yea I love Trigun Maximum, I'd say it's better than the original Anime EXCEPT for the very very end of the story. It's worth checking out if anyone is a fan of the original anime.

+ Show Spoiler +yea it isn't clear in the show whether Knives dies or not, but I assumed that he was carrying him to bury him in a significant place. I always thought Knives died because he had to "take care" of him and that he would be only person Vash actually kills. But the point is, that Knives never actually shows that he forgives Vash in the TV show which is why the ending of the show is up to interpretation. The manga on the other hand isn't like that as you know explicitly that Knives forgives him.

+ Show Spoiler + I'm waiting on my friend to finish the manga so i can borrow it from him. I'm incredibly interested to read it now since that kind of an ending seems sooooo odd given the entire story

+ Show Spoiler +agreed, I felt like the ending was a bit rushed, and I mean the VERY ending like the last 15 pages or so, everything else is sick as fuck. Definitely one of my favorite mangas right now.
Also anyone into Hellsing? The anime was subpar but the manga is a very interesting read, it's completely different from the anime.

So basically.....
+ Show Spoiler + The grief seeds are what's left of magical girls that have turned into witches. Kyubey is called an incubator because he makes magical girls as well as witches. And Sayaka day turned into I'ma be a bitch and not listen to anyone day. Holy shit this series is fucking amazing. Totally defied what I thought was going to happen. I guess I now call for red head girl (damn she was pretty cute) to die next episode.

+ Show Spoiler [Madoka] +While I don't think Kyouko will die in the next episode, I think she'll be a goner by the end of the series. After all, she wasn't in the scene in episode 1. That scene is essentially the future, and notably, Sayaka wasn't there either. Besides, Kyouko as a plot device has more or less outlived her usefulness, so she's now expendable.
