Honestly I had more fun reading textbooks than watching Eva.
Hm, was that an answer to my previous post? Not quite sure because it's not about the "static" character anymore. And I agreed to what you said one page ago, so this is like a repetition ^^
Kinda funny how we got in all this mess only because I wanted to bring one statement across: - the character Shinji Ikari has(a good amount of) depth

I thought this whole mess came about because you wanted to belittle people who didn't like Evangelion.

I wrote one sentence about NGE, everything else was about Shinji

All I know is the LR thread on /m/ starts sometime tomorrow morning!!!
It's gonna be epiiiiiiiiiiiiic *jumps up and down
If this episode is anywhere near as good as episode 15, I will probably not survive the episode. The ONLY thing that could have made episode 15 better would be
And guess what hasn't happened yet...? *HYPE TOO GREAT*
I can't believe how much fan speculation for this show has been correct. I mean, people were saying Sayaka witch, Homura time traveller, Kyubey evil since like, episode 2.
I hate when characters make unrealistic desicions... like sayaka. She has loads of easy routes out but goes the fail one oh well. Its not like real depression where there are no out routes
Homura = Hero
Kyubey = EVILZ
Lol looks like sayaka only lasted a couple of eps after all. She was such a fail character anyway. I hope madoka kills her
One thing still bugs me is hitomi.. she acted really out of char to sayaka earlier which spun the whole thing out of control and it feels a bit like a plot device. Friends like that are horrible but oh well
Prediction for homura : "i was your lover" - epic yuri incoming

Eh, I don't know if you can really call it unrealistic - it's part of her personality. She is incredibly idealistic, and can't seem to accept that being a magical girl means she needs to sacrifice lives. Kyouko and Homura don't share her views, so in the end, she rejects them. True, she did have other routes, but in the end, she was just too stubborn. Personally, I'm not too bummed since she's practically a mirror image of Shirou.
The Hitomi thing did kinda seem to come out of nowhere. Maybe she's just a huge dick though.
Throughout the Homura crying scene I kept thinking 'Yuri undertones? The fanart was right!" :3

I'm pretty sure Madoka was in Homura's shoes in the future, making Homura wish? for her to get back to the past to change Madoka's fate. But still, what an episode. Madoka never fails expectations.
Yeah, I'd say Homura's wish was to go back in time to save Madoka.
I also think that Madoka was that giant witch thing that we saw in the start of episode one. Kyubey says that she has unlimited potential right? And now we know that witches are the final form of magical girls, so logically...
By the way, how'd you guys like Kyubey's death and then him consuming the old body? I had flashbacks to Saya.
Y'know, when you think about it, Homura has a lot in common with Kiritsugu.
Kuubey = Creates new witches and needs magical girls for that - True Homura = Time traveller - True Witches = Magical Girls - True
The visuals in this episode were stunning and incredible. The transformation sequences too, especially Sayaka at the end.
Homura's time stop into bullet storm was a nice usage of her power. It is interesting that she has killed Kuubey twice already. We have only seen one confirmed "kill" on-screen so far. I love the high-tech that is in her shield.
Yay, more HomuraxMadoka yuri "hints". But Madoka seems to reject her, poor Homura.
Of course her wish was to return in time to save Madoka. Nothing else makes much sense after her breakdown scene in this episode.
Now I need to screencap the backgrounds in the Walpurgisnacht discussion, because at least one screen clearly showed another German text. Probably Faust again, but I haven't checked yet.
The yuri thing really reminds me of Kannazuki no Miko. But who did Homura contract with? Kyubey?, because why would Kyubey contract with homura after madoka became a mahou shoujo -> witch. If madoka has unlimited pontential and the witch is the final form, probably brought about the destruction of the world. I wonder how the Wal-whatever the name is plays in, because Homura is from a different "timeline". So how long is a "timeline"? Assuming that you have to be a shoujo in order to become a mahou shoujo so before 18. So madoka would've turned witch soon. Damn that was a great episode.
Edit: Assuming they were lovers on a different timeline, Homura must of gone back before they met, so thats why it seems like Madoka is rejecting homura.
