Lain didn't really stick out in my mind for some reason. I seem to remember enjoying watching it but don't remember much about it at all. @triangle If the Aria series isn't slow paced, then I don't know what is.

Before I go ask the Gods of this land for a blessing, I want to know if I would have your support, and if you think it's a good idea to petition for a subforum like that. The alternative is to just let it be as is now, with ADT being ADT and manga threads multiplying in a slow manner. I personally love ADT the way it is, with discussion about everything without being moderated whatsoever here, but the manga threads are starting to piss me off a bit D: . Seems like every remotely popular manga has a thread now. We're just missing a Berserk thread I think -.-; I miss the old days when it was just One Piece/Bleach/Naruto, basically the big3 threads. I'm fairly certain Beserk's popped up in blogs, but I don't know if there's a thread in general (or at least I can't find it). The thing is, I don't think there's enough discussion to warrant the creation of a new subforum. Mafia and LoL were both special cases since there were so many posts related to those two topics. In our case, practically all discussion is contained in this one thread and the big 3. The other manga topics, as I said earlier, die off quick. While the creation of new manga threads is annoying, I don't think we have enough content for an entire subforum. If anything, I'd say ban all new manga topics and just make them post in here. It's not like the weekly discussion will be much different from us talking about currently airing shows. In any case, anime/manga isn't even remotely related to TL. =/ @tonight: The Bakuman spoiler(s) is mostly just me raging about characters, but there is some plot in there, I guess. I'm on chapter 91 now~

Dunno why I'm not as interested in it as in other manga. IMO Berserk (or any other manga/anime) blogs are fine, it's just that the threads here in general usually stay and don't die that easily. I was very happy Beelzebub thread died, since that manga hasn't even reached 100 chapters, and I find it ridiculous to have a thread for it so soon.

The plot is amazing, the music is amazing, the characters are all awesome, and it's a yuri. Since I've seen it a few years ago, it still is in my overall top3 of the best animes ever.

My favourite probably was the "Tohno family con game" which was essentially a game of tag between the main characters (Hisui, Kohaku, Shiki, Akiha, Ciel, Arcueid, SHIKI, nero-chaos, Sacchin and Arihiko). The story was lots of fun, and the lighthearted manner of the story was almost tangible. "A story for the Evening" "Imogirisou" and "Hisui-chan Inversion Impulse" were great also. Basically I enjoyed all the stories which had Hisui/Akiha in them. Overall the VN provides a lot of tying up of the loose ends left in Tsukihime such as Nanaya's family. It was as always fun and a pleasure to revisit the Tsukihime universe =) Now onto Melty Blood wooooooooooo~!!!

Its not really hard to find good subs for those 4. All of the major Gundam titles have decent subs now, so you shouldn't have a problem. Hm? No, lol. Those 4 are related to what I wrote below. They constantly produced a Gundam anime which is pretty sick. 51/49/49/39 episodes. Regarding subtitles, the SD Gundams are the main problem, which I already wrote above. 52 episodes and no subtitles for the Gundam Force one, ugh. And I have no idea which group to pick when I watch G Gundam. B-A, a-S, Anode or W_B. B-A has a score of 6.82 which is not too impressive and the other three groups lack votes. Well, W_B has 5 (good) votes at least. I watched B-A for G Gundam, and it seemed good enough. Is your Japanese good enough to judge the translation? The quality of the subs is the most important thing, I don't really care about the video, what codec they used, the container etc. But I will always download the best available and that's why it's annoying that the others are lacking votes. I can only pick up a few lines here or there, so I can't judge translations on accuracy, but like I said, its good enough. At the very least those subs have a better translation than the dub script.

That was was definitely better than Conquest. Hell, that was better and more well-made than the original series, IMO. Absolutely beautiful art. Years ahead of its time. And like Conquest, it had that different feel. More...realistic. That's the best way I can think to describe it. Honestly, I wish that I had watched Conquest and Overture, then started the original series from ep three or whatever. I want to assume that they are canon. Because they are much better than the first two eps of the original. The movie was not without its inaccuracies though. For instance, when Lap died in the original, he took out a picture of Jessica. In the movie, he has her handkerchief. Another example is that when Yang's ship was hit in the original, Attenborough sustained a broken arm or something. In the movie, he was perfectly fine. Paeta's injuries also seemed less severe in the original. Finally, in the movie, it was winter on Heinessen and Odin. Evidenced by how Reinhard could see his breath after seeing the Kaiser, and when Yang visited Lap's grave at the end. Also, Attenborough was with him in the original when he visited Lap's grave. There were some other smaller differences, like what people said or where exactly they were, but that would go into extreme nitpick territory ![]() We also got the backstory of Astate. I felt that it was much needed, because there was so much I didn't understand about it when I first watched it. The stupid nobles took Mittermeyer, Reuental, and Mecklinger from Reinhard, explaining why only Kircheis was with Reinhard. We also learned about Lap, which helped me sooo much. When he first died, I was like, "Who the heck is this guy and who is he getting a main character's death?" Now I'm legit sad that he died Fahrenheit actually got some lines too. It was actually some nice foreshadowing for him joining Reinhard's staff after the Lippstadt War.Also, does anyone else think that it would be kinda interesting to see more of Yang and Attenborough as staff officers? I found it pretty entertaining. Also, the series as a whole does not have enough Reinhard+Kircheis+Annerose scenes. I love those scenes. I feel like it's the only time that Reinhard is ever truly happy. Though, there are things that the series as a whole could have less of. Like the retarded commanders. I can understand it on the Imperial side, due to all the nobility and favortism etc.. But why on the Alliance side? I'd be all right if they had just gone through a huge era of peace. Because there wouldn't have been any wars for people to distinguish themselves in (I imagine that the beginning of the war had many inexperienced commanders who struggled in real battle). You'd think that in a 150 year war, only people with actual skill could be fleet admirals. It's not like the Alliance was that short on manpower at the beginning of the series either >.> Now, for funnies. I lol'd when I saw Housewife Julian again. I can't even remember the last time he appeared like that. And it even gave Cazellnu an appearance. And I lmao'd when Yang trolled Trunicht when he asked what it takes to win a battle. It was right in front of Paeta too. What's worse, is that Trunicht fell for it -_- The only thing missing from the movies was Rosenritter pwnage. And Bagdashu. This made me sad ![]() ![]() ![]() Will watch Golden Wings this weekend.

He grew up right in front of our eyes. ![]() lol, perfect strategy, Yang Come to think of it, that was pretty much what Reinhard was able to do in almost all of the main series.
