Ah, I normally those but it has alot of the animes that I found to be excpetionally good. But Trinity Blood should surely be on there, what are they thinking
Pshah. All the seasons of LoGH is twenty-two gigs. And that's from laserdisc rips. Imagine it with 720p filesizes
Not true, the Gaidens were 11 more gigs, so it's a total of 33
I gotta download those too. And the movies. LoGH is gonna be like a sixth of my HDD space. : |
LOGH was also double the length of Tsubasa, but you ahve me beat still considering its only 12gigs and i'm dling them at 1080p quality -_-, oh well only 1 hour left, yay for 20mb/sec download speeds -.-

If you're watching on a computer, you won't be able to tell the difference between 720p and 1080p. It's usually better to download 720p because of the smaller filesizes. ;o
Edit: 20mb/sec? Can I come to your house to download anime in the future?
I'm unsure of how popular this Anime is but I absolutely love the casualness of it all and the rather odd direction of the show. It's basically about a show of an energetic kid trying to make a national bread for japan like in France and Italy (Baguette and some Rustic bread!).
What I love the most is that the character is a generic anime hero where he is disregarded as some sap or weak-minded being. Overall a flop and a failure in the eyes of everyone else. Admittedly, he does have a "special" ability, but regardless. The show is creative, silly and interesting.
However, I can never get too far into the series ):
P.S: Image is the Manga form of it. But it's an Anime series as well.
Yakitate Japan! is really fun for its first season. Its very unique way to do a shounin anime lol. I mean, just showing some people clips from that show is enough to get them to watch it. The bread battles and stuff is just too good.
Unfortunately, Dragon Ball Bread can only be funny and fresh for so long. Later seasons, especially the last season, becomes painfully formulatic and predictable, and just not nearly as good. The show starts off really strong, but unfortunately gets progressively worse, and the ending of the anime is disappointing as well.
Saw this as a child and it's always eluded me of what the plot is, but it was always compelling to watch.
That and Maaya Sakamoto's song on it is purely art itself!
The Escaflowne movie isn't popular because its garbage. The series itself is probably like a hidden gem IMO. People who watch it tend to like it. Personally, its one of my favorite shows. This is one of those mecha shows that is really unique compared to alot of the other shows, mainly due to its setting (blend of fantasy and mecha, basically). The only show that comes sorta close to the setting is Break Blade, but thats alot more steam punk (IDK if thats the best word to describe it actually). But the Guymelefs in that show are just so cool, and the battles are extremely good. And its one of the few shows where I feel the dub is excellent. The only problem with Escaflowne is towards the end + Show Spoiler +
where everything that happens turns out to be because of "fate" or some shit. Aka everything is literally a plot device. I'm serious.
edit: also Escaflowne isn't "really" old, its just a 90s anime. Unless 90s anime is considered really old now, in which case I will feel old again

On another note I need something to watch, preferably some form of action, I need a break from all the slice of life / harem animes I've been watching.
Any suggestions =D
Action animu eh? New Getter Robo. You're welcome in advance.

And yes 20mb/sec and if you want to pay for the drive here you can come and use it , trust me it is worth it
Escaflowne was very good, but like you said the ending kinda ruined the show for me
The ending was more "really? -_-" than anything else, and IMO the rest of the show more than made up for it. + Show Spoiler +
Plus we finally got Van vs Alan at the end.
The ending wasn't as bad as say, Evangelion.
Also, since I was helping Ferrose find LoGH Movie links, I rediscovered my rage over Golden Wings.
That's Reinhard. He looks like a little bitch in the movie. Although in this picture, he doesn't look nearly as bitchy as he normally does. Also, cool purple uniforms, Imperial Fleet, its a shame you stopped wearing those cool black ones with the collar/shoulder things. And the evil looking guy who wears the lipstick in the background is the bad guy. WTF is someone like that doing on LoGH???

Does Yakitate get any better after that bread battle the hero has with that rivaling bread shop? That's where I stopped and just never bothered again.
As for Escaflowne, I haven't seen it since I was a kid, since in my lifetime, it's be awhile :B
I don't wanna read your spoiler @____@, but yeah I loved the odd setting mix too~
Speaking of action, I really wanna see an anime or movie of Vagabond, but done really well, so probably a set of movies. That would be fuckin' badass beyond all reason.
Any news of a season 2 of The Legend of Legendary Heroes? I just lvoe it cause the voice actor for Ryner is the same as Lelouch and the first time I heard the laugh i was like ZOMG. I also found the novels / manga to be pretty good and would like to see it finished ;(

...seriously? DenYuuDen season 1 was like trash. Well, season 2 has better material, but considering they did all 11 vols of DenYuuDen, I'd suspect that if anything happens, it won't be till DaiDenYuuDen concludes.

Well if you look past some flaws it was a pretty reasonable piece of work, I enjoyed it very much

lol, btw I cleared Eien no Aselia here's your spoilerish Harem shot + Show Spoiler +
Yuuto the Sage after becoming an Eternal traveled thru time and "replayed the game multiple times" after clearing all the girls. Tokimi, The miko whose power is to control time summoned his harem all to the same time line and lived happily ever after...or not.
The problem is Xuse split, a huge chunk of the EienShinken crew formed their own company (Immortal Will) but their games have been pretty rubbish of late. Meanwhile I don't think Xuse has the employee infrastructure to make an SRPG anymore.

Didn't the BDs crash and burn?
Anyway, I guess I'll have to be content with what B-T releases for the time being...
