The bake LNs are getting translated slowly afaik, no signs of an official translation. Not that I'd trust any official translations after how badly Zaregoto got butchered in the English localization. As I continue my quest to find more Kokoro Connect besides vol 1.

Fun movie, good messages albeit cheesy, doesn't become outstanding in any areas beyond the visuals -- kind of like The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. I liked it more though. 8/10 It makes for a better children's film, in all honesty. Did you happen to realize that the plot is very similar to the digimon movie?

Subtitles take up practically no space. The main difference is in the video encode. The higher quality your encode is, the more space it'll take up. Just because both videos are 720p doesn't mean that they'll have the same quality. + Show Spoiler [TGWOK 133] + The teacher knowing about Vulcan isn't a huge deal since it's pretty clear at this point that she's not with Vintage.

That was great. It was nice to see Yang alive again. As well as Kircheis. And more Mittermeyer/Reuental scenes (even thought it was only two ) We also got to learn more about Yang's retarded commander. How does that guy become and admiral? -_-At least it had another badass plan from Reinhard. And a simply amazing checkmate move by Yang. The movie had a much more different tone than the original series, but it was a welcome tone. And I can't believe that people really referred to Reinhard as "the admiral under the skirt." -_- The movie was very well made though. 9/10 Also, did anyone notice Flegel's extremely long fingernails? ![]() On February 24 2011 00:57 JSH wrote: On a side note, I realized that the episodes that I found are only 98MB or so They are in 1280x720 and .mkv but why are the files so small? The quality was good too, as my screen resolution is only 1280x800 I can understand that. Especially if those eps where in the Nadeko arc. Since that arc was like nothing but title cards. ![]()

Also how come 720P and 1080P has such a large file difference? 250mb vs 1gb around there per episode Anyways I realized I knew virtually nothing about Shinobu + Show Spoiler + and then she magically comes out and saves Araragi lol A huge point I missed but I'm like half-dead at the moment so my cognitive skills are kind of lacking I assume the LN later explain more? Did you notice how the movie introduced characters like Steinmetz (I think it was him anyway), as the captain of Reinhard's ship? It really was nice to see Yang and Kircheis again, and Reuental too. Good ol fashioned Yang vs Reinhard stuff is always welcome.

In lore, vampires can hide in shadows. Sometimes. It depends on the author, really. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/OurVampiresAreDifferent Edit: I picked up Melty Blood: Act Cadenza just for the hell of it. I forgot how horribly bad I was at fighting games. D:

I thought it was Bergengrun though (even though that doesn't really make sense) : / I liked that quote from the beginning. "Perhaps man is a creature that must fight until the last one is dead." Good commentary of the series, IMO. On February 24 2011 03:10 Spazer wrote: Edit: I picked up Melty Blood: Act Cadenza just for the hell of it. I forgot how horribly bad I was at fighting games. I tried Akiha, got my ass handed to me by the computer. Now maining Kohaku and doing a little better. And as much as I hate to admit it, she has the best animations in the game. ![]()
