I mean, no way I can watch it with the girl, but even so it does keep my interest week in week out. Now that they mentioned ripping out the stigma it has to only be a matter of time before someone gets wrecked and gets theirs ripped off their body. REally? She is now caught up on Madoka and really likes that, but I know the constant fan service of Freezing would bug her. She is also up to date on all of Naruto which is the only anime she watched for... like... 3years or something. However long it took her to catch up on that.
you have to slowly train her so she is slowly less turned off by fan service 
maybe you should try to show her the freezing manga, it's more gory and less fanservice and it might be worth a try to see her reaction

Well, the only porn she enjoys is hentai, so she's cool with it. Though tbh, if I felt like a lack of fanservice in the anime would cause the action scenes to be cooler I'd totally make the tradeoff, but I just wish it had both.

Lol my story is no good. FwB situation turned into serious relationship into marriage But idk, she was in university at the time, one grade higher than me. She went to aniCons back in the day, I've never been to any though. So I guess that's where you find em. I'm just glad she's hot and into this stuff, too often the anime girls aren't worth going after.

Yeah, I honestly don't think that is plot armor. To me that particular example was more one where the author didn't really think through the villain's powers before letting the protagonist follow a formulaic method of beating villains. If what you have counts, then every time anyone has ever gotten lucky in literature, it is plot armor. To me, plot armor is more like something that goes against the grain of the book to let something specific happen.
To all those people who are shocked over Kanon, I wonder how you'll ever handle it should LB ever get animated? And then there is Rewrite this April.

This has nothing to do with you, but I find Bebop to be one of the most overrated shows ever. It gets such high acclaim and I think at the very best it is an average show with an average plot(what plot?).

i didnt like it either to be honest. That's why i haven't watched anime in a while cause i tought it sucked at that time after watching cowboy bebop rofl. That was like 3 years ago.

As for the Imperial Pilots, I think they would just have a hard time writing them into the story. But simply based on numbers, and the scale of these battles, there has to be at least some aces. But presentation wise, the Imperial side is full of accomplished Admirals. Reinhard has basically been the most powerful force in the Galaxy since the end of Season 1. I just can't think of any pilot who would hold a rank high enough to hang around the ruler of the galaxy. The Alliance side is fairly different, since they are alot less powerful, and much less structured. Even still, Poplan being as influential as he is, while still being a fighter pilot is kinda weird to me.
Did you enjoy Bittenfeld punching out Oberstein? And yes, Kesler is awesome.
Death Note had tennis in it too, so I guess thats what hes referring to? But beyond those 2 anime, I can't really say that tennis is very common or anything.
