Ever notice how the main characters in some stories never seem to die or get injured regardless of how supposedly powerful the enemy is? They're basically granted immunity because they're main characters. That's plot armor. Here's an example from Index: + Show Spoiler + Accelerator is a guy who can control vectors. Basically he can redirect anything you throw at him, so he's effectively invulnerable. Touma is a guy who can cancel supernatural powers by punching them with his right fist. Accelerator's victory was basically guaranteed since he could basically float in the air out of Touma's reach and just throw crap at him all day long. But no, Touma wins anyways because the author made Accelerator do stupid stuff. Plot armor. | ||

The entire time that they were on that grassy knoll getting married and playing with the bell had me bawwing. | ||

I can look past it though ~ Freezing + Show Spoiler + I actually do mildly enjoy this show. The fights are pretty engaging and the characters aren't all that bad. I mean, no way I can watch it with the girl, but even so it does keep my interest week in week out. Now that they mentioned ripping out the stigma it has to only be a matter of time before someone gets wrecked and gets theirs ripped off their body. | ||
