It will be interesting to see if Sayaka will go all "school days" on hitomi's ass. I mean she already lost her mind lolol. Probably will force madoka to become a mahou shoujo because
A) she'll die because shes fucking crazy,
B) turn bad guy and gets killed by madoka or something
C) just be super crazy which will make madoka turn mahou shoujo.
I sorta lose my respect? (not sure if that is the word) for kyuubey because i thought he was like some bad manipulative fag, but it turns out he just doesn't give a shit and is a business person.

after seeing episode 7 I think Sayaka will turn out to be the end boss. QB allready mentioned that mahou shoujos turn into witches if they dont watch out and Sayaka might be on that path after turning crazy.
I really liked the episode and Kyouko got some background now, I am kinda interested in what special ability she got because of her wish.

Currently watching ep. 6. Definitely an interesting anime, and I am curious about how the system came to be and how it operates.

Kyuubei and syetem's existence is intriguing for me, not as much as Madoka. However, she is young (and a protagonist) so I can't expect rational decision from her.

Will watch ep 7 later.

My predictions and rant: Witches are from Mahou Shoujos who were not able to keep recharging their gems. Kyoko is actually a good girl, albeit in a different way. Kyuubei is doing it for its own sake. Wondering why she's so insistent about Madoka becoming a mahou shoujo. It could be that it wants to get rid of witches but I foresee an ulterior motive.

Isn't that alcohol that her mom (and she?) is drinking? Nvm Madoka isn't drinking it.

Well that progressed nearly nothing in the main character's storyline, freaking lame. Waited a week for nothing, but whatever, Hitomi is a bitch whether that's the machinations of becoming a magical girl that something fuckedup balances it out or not will probably never be seen, but she definitely did not appear to be so cruel and cold as she acted in the cafeteria. Less whining plzkthxbai? Holy crap that's about all Madoka does is bitch and whine and cry over shit. I liked the backdrop into kyoko's character. Religion is shit and only breeds negative emotion. :D lol flamebait j/p it has its good points (i guess). Kyubey is still a douche, so pretty much nothing new, just some background into side characters (that probably won't stick around, may emphasis on may make it to the final battle madoka dreamed of at the beginnning.) and some psychotic degeneration on Sayaka's part :/ Which tbh, why can't she ask the boy out? I don't fucking get it. I dont think it's a matter of her not wanting to bring him into her situation i think she legitimately thinks she can't ask him out? Wtf is with that, probably shitty plothole writing is my guess. I shouldn't have to come up with the obvious conclusion to fill in holes for them. And to end it, damn those skirts are short and that violin kid is a dick.

Kyubey merely pressures madoka into it because she's an apparent latent badass at some mystical mumbojumbo that can't be explained, you know the generic go to start for everything that involves a main char in japan. I.e. squall, cloud, any mecha show and infinite others.

yea i forgot about that, sayaka lost her mind which would make her kill hitomi? which would turn her into a witch somehow? which would force madoka into a mahou shoujo to kill her? which would end this season probably. And it might be some sort of epic dramatic lez scene or something, Like in Kannazuki no Miko. and lead into a 2nd season (if they have one idk). Thats what i want it to be like, but they're probably going to throw in some other crazy shit.

Why can't Sayaka ask Kyousuke out? Because she's effectively dead. Even if having her soul ripped out doesn't affect her day to day activities, she thinks of herself as something less than human. She can't bring herself to talk to Kyousuke because she cares for him and basically believes that a monster like her shouldn't associate with somebody like him.

And what do you mean the main storyline didn't progress? Just because Sayaka's name isn't in the title doesn't mean she's not a main character. Her character got developed a huge amount in this episode, and in case you'd forgotten, she's Madoka's best friend. If anything, she will be the catalyst that will drive Madoka toward or away from becoming a magical girl.

Such a great episode again. I love the amount of character development that this show provides. I wonder if there is any drawback to the things that Kyuubey teaches Sayaka. He mentioned something in passing, but I guess there is more to it.

More background about Kyoko is also very nice. I was partially right that she had to starve during her childhood, but I was completely wrong about her wish. I wonder how old she actually is. The pictures of the church during the flashback looked pretty old. Of course that could have been caused by the art style.

I love the art style in the last witches' world. The black really helps to highlight Sayaka's despair and determination.

Definitively one of the best shows I've ever seen.
