Might be that I don't count girls that are 14+ as "lolis", even though the definition seems to include all girls that are <18. But even if we disagree on that initial statement, you can't say that Madoka is comparable to a fanservice/comedy manga that features 9 year old girls (and plenty of other girls/things) as main targets for the fanservice and ecchi scenes. Edit: Just to be clear, I don't blame him or anybody else for enjoying Lotte no Omocha!. I just think that you can't compare the two at all. | ||

How isn't that ecchi? it's as ecchi as you make it in your mind. And I think Madoka doesnt qualify at all for loli or ecchi stereotypes. The girls might be young but that's it. To count as loli you have to do much more imo Kodomo no Jikan is probably the best example for a loli show. And then ecchi, there is pretty much nothing that qualifies Madoka for that. You dont see the typical POVs, no boob bouncing, no pantyshots, not even some dirty talk. So it boils down to how good your fantasy is because the material does not provide any service in that field. | ||

Madoka is confirmed to be 14 years old and in 8th grade. Since the other girls are either in her class or, in the case of Mami one year ahead, they are all around this age. I can't agree on your art comment either. I don't think that it is inherently ecchi, just because the girl is wearing a skirt and uses it to perform a magic trick. It's not like she flashed her panties and pulled a weapon out of her underwear or something. The only thing that is overtly ecchi or fanservicey is the nude transformation sequence in the OP and I guess that is there on purpose. | ||
