Ono Daisuke isn't too limited to protagonists too iirc, I mean, Koizumi?

Also, lol at Cazellnu spying on Julian. + Show Spoiler [LoGH 79-80] +Fahrenheit It was kinda dumb how the empire forces kept getting surrounded. I mean, of course you're going to be surrounded if you charge into the center of their formation. -_- lol, even Attenborough is aware of how often they use the "pretend to run away" tactic. Man, they really pay attention to their gore. They even had the pool of blood boiling. + Show Spoiler +Tactics wise, charging in isn't a bad tactic. Its been used several times in the show to good effect, its just not a perfect strategy. Like breaking through the middle of your opponent could be a crippling move if pulled off successfully. But if your opponent sees it coming, it can lead to getting surrounded, or at least flanked. Plus, both Bittenfeld AND Fahrenheit specialize in offensive attack stragey, so it made them a big easier to read.
Bittenfeld doesn't know the meaning of restraint though, lol. Its practically his job to just charge in and get surrounded! + Show Spoiler +Awesome 2 episodes! Fahrenheit was one of my favourite imperial admirals. Steinmetz was great in his own way too.
I still don't understand what the hell happened at the end of 80. Reinhard had some kind of revelation and forced Yang to retreat, then he retreats himself while the army was like all around Yang? I guess I'll need to wait for the next episode!
And what the hell Reinhard in a bed in the preview. It's not the time to rest, it's time to obliterate your enemies and send them into oblivion!
Reuental's plan was fucking awesome. 5 holes instead of 1. Why not! Mittermeyer also had amazing plans, but it's a shame he couldn't execute them properly... especially since he's known for fast movements...
In any case, great tactics used on both sides. Bittenfield is just as awesome as ever. I love how Yang took care of Mecklinger just by scaring him hahaha.

I wonder what kyubey gets from forming contracts with Mahou Shojou's that he'll do almost anything.
And what he said about homura intrigues me, especially as she tried to kill kyubey.
Yeah it definitely seems he has an ulterior motive.
That OR he just doesn't care and works to for nothing but to make more magical girls.

Plus, are you really going to try and tell me that Berserk's flashback is executed even close to how it is in Tenjou Tenge?

I'm torrenting the first Nanoha movie atm. 4.38 GB for a 2 hour movie? ;/

That is pretty small. The 1080p versions are around 8 GB. Disappearance is even bigger, iirc.
Edit: Yes, Disappearance is about 9-10 GB in good quality.

Movies tend to be in the 4GB range for 720p. Gone are the days of 1GB movies.
lol, even the KnK epilogue was over a gig because there it was snowing throughout the entire thirty minutes.

Nanoha movie was a bit longer than 2 hours, wasn't it? IIRC it was like 2:30 or 3.
Anyway, I've finally gotten around to watching Madoka episode 3, but I've come to a bit of an empasse. I've gotten Nutbladder's subs, and for some reason they decided to not translate a few lines of dialogue about 8:30 minutes into it, when talking about her mother. Any idea about what her father said/why am I watching subs that don't sub everything?

It was an error in the subtitle file.
The missing line of the translation is "She treasures overcoming the boring and difficult parts of her job.", at least in the Nutbladder script.
Will be fixed in the v2, according to the comments. But most people tend to archive yesy-subs because they are translating the runes and stuff as well.
Magia (Madoka ED) lyrics confirmed. Translation again taken from the Nutbladder site. + Show Spoiler [Magia] + One day, perhaps the light of love shining in your eyes (Will go beyond the time) There is but one dream, of a world rushing toward its doom (Will it be destroyed?) Swallow your hesitation! What do you desire? Chasing these greedy desires, will the future fade away? When I was a girl, I dreamed of you Wielding something like unto ancient magic I want to be by your side as you smile, filled with the strength to smash even the darkness In my trembling hand, I grasp the courage of a plucked laurel Relying only on my emotions, my wish awakens the light
One day perhaps you too, for someone’s sake (Will desire power) On the night I grasped love to my breast New words sprang forth as if being born If I can follow my path without wavering I care not if my heart shatters I want to know a spell to stand up to the sadness always before my eyes You’re still just a memory of a dream Sleepless, I strive for a tomorrow when we will miraculously meet In my trembling hand, I grasp the blade of a plucked laurel Clinging to life through my emotions, I brandish my wish within my heart
When I loved the book that spoke of a wonderland given light by a shining, imprisoned sun I believed in the fairytale that my wishes would come true (Amidst the light and shadow)
I whisper that with that ancient magic which bloomed wildly in silence the power to change the world gently lies in your hands Let us dream a neverending dream With you, through time Clinging to life through my emotions, only my wish creates life
Edit: Nanoha movie is 2:10 but many particle effects and other space consuming stuff, Disappearance is 2:41.

Nanoha is surprisingly hardcore.
That being said I wouldnt go out of my way to watch it, and if you do it's probably best to stick with the first season.
I took a peak at the stuff wrapping up in the next few months. As is the norm for the last 2 or 3 years it seems to be really sparse. Guess BD sales arent as high as they need to be to get a studio to experiment.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica isn't experimenting with anime?

No, the movie is far better than the first season. A's is still the best of the TV seasons though, followed by StrikerS. The movie has entirely replaced the first season in everything but yuri and fanservice.
That said, the fight choreography of the first season Nanoha/Fate fight is still good and different enough from the one in the movie so that it is still worth a look.

But omg was that a pretty movie IMO.
I just downloaded Time of Eve, that was 10 gigs too. 2010 seems to have been quite good year in terms of anime movies. All I've seen have been so good.

I'm back, and that is totally how i imagined kyuubey to be lmao. Some random pimp/guy who says the right things to get the sex from virgins(non mahou shoujos) and then throws the girls away after hes done with them.
[Edit]Would like to say Mitsudomoe 5 is out for those who watch it. Q_Q Probably no one but me.
