Really cool anime. Pretty dark too with mature themes (not necessarily nudity mature) and cast.
Edit: 7 episodes in and it's becoming my favorite anime of the season. The way they build the world, the sense of discovery, the cool characters and interesting stories just work so well for me.
There's a couple people here keeping up with the show. I wouldn't say it's outstanding in any particular area, but it's interesting enough to keep me watching.

Yeah, it's definitely interesting. I've also been enchanted by 7th Time Loop, nothing spectacular, started watching it out of boredom but it really grew on me. I like the shows where the MC is OP not because of some godly powers (although you could say getting reincarnated over and over is one) but because of the skills acquired through living those numerous lives where each one of them was dedicated to fully embracing and training some profession. Basically many lifetimes (albeit short lifetimes) of training and learning compressed, not magical superhuman feats.
I really enjoy that, showing how some knowledge can help you out in life even if you're just a regular human being. It's also refreshing to have an MC who isn't a whiny little bitch but actually competent and reasonable person.
Edit: I guess that's because this show gets it right with all the things that really put me off in Re: Zero. Super unlikable MC who despite finding himself in another world wouldn't take an afternoon when things became a bit less hectic to just learn some things about this new world, which would avoid like 90% of bad predicaments. In 7th Time Loop the heroine doesn't just rush into things hoping for the best but takes her time to do proper research and planning to produce desired results.

This is the first show to top FMA on the charts in years and it remains as #1 still. I don't think it needs any more recommendations

This season?
Would have Solo Leveling, Mashle right behind Frieren and Diaries.
Luckily we are only a few weeks from a strong springseason so eventhough ill miss these they will be replaced

What's there next season? I basically only see sequels of popular shows I'm not interested in. The only exception might be the reboot of Spice & Wolf, which I didn't realise starts airing on April 2nd. I really liked the first 2 seasons but Passionete's track record is not making me hopeful the new adaption will be good...

I'm watching Solo Leveling but not overly excited about it (it's good but I've already read the manhwa so I know the whole story, same thing with Shangri La). Mashle I've dropped before the halfway point in the first season. I don't like it at all. The animation is crap, the MC hasn't really anything going for him and the jokes and premise got stale after 3 episodes.
I'm currently also watching several other shows but none of them are really on the level of Apo and Frieren (those 2 are simply outstanding). Oh well, we'll see how it goes. At least I have some of the "reborn as villainess/victim" fad animes to watch and for some reason most of those animes are actually pretty good.

It hasn't really gotten any better / changed imo. If someone likes the first few episodes, then they'll probably continue liking it. If they didn't get into it early on, there isn't much more to look forward to.
