I am thoroughly impressed with the One Piece live action adaptation. It's as good as a live action can reasonably get and it's genuinely refreshing to see Netflix put in the work to try and truly bring the world of the manga to life as close as they could get it.

Its such a surprise how good live action can be if you actually care about the material and ask the creator to be on board and give him power to make decisions.

Lets hope One Piece will show the world how you can show anime in real tv

I had negative expectation for the One Piece Live Action, but surprisingly yeah, it was actually pretty decent. Its not without its flaws, but it would be unreasonable to expect such out of a live action of a manga, especially of something as wacky as One Piece. But its definitely worth a watch.

Just watched Fate/Strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn and boy am I hyped for the series. It can't come soon enough as even this pilot movie was simply epic.

Netflix One Piece renewed for a second season. There was significant speculation that Netflix would can it, but we can only attiribute its glowing reception as being why they would pull the trigger on renewing it.

I just finished up Heavenly Delusions from last season and have to say it was quite the surprise. The dynamic between the MCs was quite entertaining and the setting was interesting as well. I really enjoyed the visuals. The quality of animation honestly surprised me the most. I have watched movies with worse animation. It was so damn juicy. It's really weird that every once and again one random "under-the-radar" show gets treated this well. Unfortunately the anime falls flat when it comes to explore its own main topics. It keeps everything on a surface level, which is a shame. If they had delivered on this, it could have elevated the show to be really great. It also has a lot of loose ends, which was to be expected since the manga is not complete yet. I hope this gets a second season sometime down the line.

I was on board with this anime until the very end. The ending to the first season really made me mad (lack of acknowledgement/resolution to what happened) and the fact that you mentioned where they hint at some really interesting stuff when it comes to the world building but never really go deeper into it.

Trying to watch FGO Babylonia right now and it's hard to get through it. Seems way too light-hearted for a Fate series and some of the "historical" stuff is just bizarre. I know this series takes a lot of inspiration from historical figures/legends and uses it with quite a bit of liberty in interpretation but this one goes a bit too far in my opinion. I don't mind alternate history but when I see Spartans in Roman armor I can do nothing but cringe and Quetzalcoatl speaking Spanish I find downright offensive even though I have nothing in common with either culture...

Just finished watching this: Awesome animation and great mood imo. If you liked the previous 4 seasons of Castlevania, you will like this and if you haven't seen the previous Castlevania series, I recommend to watch that first.
