Before this change we all always knew that he'd lose and noone speaks up for him, which is just as bad as the opposite, a Mary Stue MC who wins and succeeds at everything, if that goes on for too long without something else to break the situation up. Also, funny to see that the lancer guy really isn't "evil", he's just that stupid. It was clear that he's getting manipulated by the princess but seeing as he genuinly believes he won the duel and that no cheating was involved in either the duel or chocobo-race it's fair to say he really doesn't know and is just that dumb. So far Shield-bro and Kaguya-sama are carrying the season for me. Also Slime-isekai from last season but that's a given. Sure, I see your point and I tend to agree. + Show Spoiler + I enjoyed it more when he was getting cheered on and someone is standing up for him too. Granted, I think part of that is the buildup to it. After the duel, he almost lost his head over what they were doing and if it wasn't for Raphtalia, it would've been over for him imo. One thing the anime did really well and somewhat subtly is showing how he was still seeing Raphtalia as a kid, and it was only after she "saved him" after the duel did he finally "wake up" and start seeing her as an adult as well as taste food etc... I'm sure there are other subtle things sin there, but the kid's meal that he kept ordering for her was one of them though maybe he just misunderstood how demi-humans work. I started watching Kaguya-sama after seeing the comments here, and it's been a blast too. That, Mob Psycho, Slime and Shield Bro are really carrying this season. So is my neighbour is a cat. Unfortunately, SAO has been getting less and less interesting with each episode. | ||

You know, how parents generally don't realize how their kids have grown up over the past years until something happens that makes them realize they really aren't kids anymore like looking at old picture so you see them next to each other etc. Can't say I personally have been through that yet but it's basicly been that way for me with my dog lol. He was a small puppey when i got him and a couple months later someone told me "man, he's really grown a lot the last 2 months" and I was just standing there thinking "what? Isn't he still the same as when I got him" | ||

Neo set up a server for FGO at some point and that's usually where the message goes around. While there's some overlap with anime/manga/voice actors it's 99% fgo talk. | ||

yeah I've seen her twitch/youtube accounts but sadly I'm just not into the kind of games she plays and the one random vod I opened (Dark Souls, random episode) had fairly loud game audio with her being super quiet which made it hard for me to understand her  Maybe that's just a one-time thing or an old episode i checked out but combine that with it being games I'm not into and I didn't bother checking out more. | ||
