Thing is, I heard the anime stopped at chapter 42, is this true? Will the author ever continue the manga or is there a good chance they will? The current place that the manga is in can't possibly be worse than where the anime stopped is my thought. Worse is a relative term. I think you can suffer the mild (or not mild in your case, annoyance) and move on. I personally was not invested in the story enough to be upset that it wast going anywhere in terms of resolution. You could be fine not reading the manga aswell because if you are looking for closure you wont get it there. If you just want more of the same you will get it. It will answer some questions but at the same time raise several more, because thats simply how never ending emo drama's work. I just finished it to where it was because I consumed everything and anything in those days, was somewhat annoyed that there was going to be a lot left unresolved and then moved on an hour later. ya, probably. It's mostly because I finished it so recently so it's just sad to think about how things transpired.
fair enough. Might still give it a quick read because I am curious to see how things developed and where the manga went on hiatus. Seems like the author was released from hospital back in 2010 but hasn't released anything since? Is there even a chance that we'll get a conclusion? Hopefully she'll at least consider just writing a page or two of how she planned things and wrap it up if she's calling it quits. Would be a big disservice imo to all the fans that supported her since she started that manga.

Fair enough. Considering she hasn't released anything since she was released from hospital in 2010, it's likely she won't ever continue the manga then. Can't see how she'll start working on it again after almost a decade has passed though I hope that I'm proven wrong.

Yeah dono, it was pretty popular back then. I went to a couple of small town Ani-cons with some college friends around the time the anime ended and I remmeber the Nana O look was all the rage for cosplayers, that and ofc Yoko from Lagann

Finally began on hisone to masotan
Great stuff, bones delivering again. You'd probably like this show Numy, cute girls piloting dragons.
|
don't make Numy watch other shows. He's supposed to watch New Game s2!

Honestly only anime I've watched in last few months is Hero Academia. Studying sucks. When you too stressed and tired to do work or play so you just vegetate doing nothing...

I went to a couple of small town Ani-cons with some college friends around the time the anime ended and I remmeber the Nana O look was all the rage for cosplayers, that and ofc Yoko from Lagann make sense. Makes me wonder what the popularity is like now and if anyone even cares about having an ending for the manga. There were supposedly rumours of a second season back then as well. Oh right, one other thing that felt a bit off:
+ Show Spoiler [Nana] +Nana finally talks to Shoujo about what he did towards the end of the anime and it would seem like things were back on track between them but he decides to close the chapter on their whole relationship, aka not even friends anymore. I realize there's a lot of talk about guys and girls not being able to go back to being friends after dating. Guessing this was what he was referring to?
Honestly, it felt a bit unnecessary to me. By then, they've broken up for some time now. Heck, they've barely had any contact and neither of them seemed like they were gunning for the other anymore since to some degree, they have each accepted their significant other and current life. Anyone else felt the same here or was he wise to cut things off for good?
